Allahabad Degree College was established in the year 1956 and is a part of the University of Allahabad. Allahabad Degree College aims at providing an equal to all students across the various backgrounds especially those who are a part of the economically and socially weaker section of the society. The college provides degrees both undergraduate and postgraduate across various fields which include humanities, law, basic and applied sciences, commerce and social sciences. Allahabad Degree College boasts of a panel of well-qualified educators that help impart the best education to their students. The aim of Allahabad Degree College is to rebuild the city and country in terms of knowledge in the various streams across law, science, management and social sciences. They aim to achieve this by providing the best-qualified teachers and infrastructure in collaboration with the University of Allahabad. One can join the college for an undergraduate degree by giving the Combined Under Graduation Admission Tests for B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. For post-graduation- one would have to appear for the Combined Post Graduate Test. For admission for the LL.B. and LL.M. degree, there is an admission test conducted by the University of Allahabad.
