Established in 2003, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences (ASAS) is situated in the Kochi Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. This College is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. As per the statutory norms, the MCA programme offered by this Institute has also approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

ASAS Kochi offers various UG, PG, doctoral-level courses in eight streams, including Mass Communication & Media, Animation, Science, Business & Management Studies, Accounting & Commerce, IT & Software, Arts (Fine / Visual / Performing) Banking and Finance & Insurance. It comprises seven departments offering different degree programmes including three integrated courses among which BCA+MCA and BA+MA are offered only to the female students. Also, some of the UG-level courses like BCom (Finance and IT), BBA and BSc (Visual Media) are offered exclusively to the girl candidates.

• MCA (Lateral Entry): Students are granted admission basis their merit in graduation and performance in Amrita Entrance Test, followed by an interview held at the College campus
