BITS Hyderabad admission 2020 is conducted through online mode. The applications for UG programmes commence in January every year and for PG programmes, the admission cycle begins from April. The admission process for all the courses are highlighted below:

All first degree programmes (UG) at BITS Hyderabad are considered to be integrated degrees as they include several cross-disciplinary common courses such as basic math and science. Also, no intermediate UG degree is awarded. 

BITS Hyderabad accepts admission to all its UG courses through BITSAT. The allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit secured by candidates in the exam along with their preferred choices during BITSAT 2020 counselling.

MSc is an integrated programme without any immediate BSc degree. Candidates willing to take admission to one of the specialisations offered in Integrated MSc programme are required to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

The candidates seeking admission to BPharm Hons programme also need to appear for BITSAT. The eligibility criteria for BPharm aspirants is given below in the table:

BITS Hyderabad offers admission to all its PG programmes through BITS HD exam. Candidates who qualify BITS HD need to appear for the counselling according to the dates announced by the exam authorities. 50% of the seats are reserved for the candidates with GATE/GPAT scores.

Full-time PhD students admitted into the PhD programme are eligible for an Institutional fellowship of Rs 31,000 per month in the first year.

1. Register online by visiting the official website of BITS Admission
2. Fill in the required personal and academic details 
3. Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee (Male Candidates: Rs 3300, Female Candidates: Rs 2800)

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad (popularly known as BITS Hyderabad) accepts the Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT) for admission to its first degree programmes, including BE, BPharm and MSc programmes. After the exam, BITS Pilani releases the qualifying BITSAT cutoff that candidates need to score to be eligible for counselling process at different campuses of BITS. Candidates, who qualify BITSAT qualifying cutoff, have to register for the BITSAT Counselling based on which seats are allotted to them considering their preference of college and courses. The result of BITSAT seat allotment is declared in the form of six rounds of counselling iteration results. The final BITSAT cutoff is released once all the counselling iterations are concluded. Candidates should note that there is no reservation policy in BITSAT.
