Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) is a Deemed university, u/s 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in the year 2008, located in Chennai. It is a part of the Chettinad Group. CARE has been approved by MCI, INC, TNNMC, AICTE, COA, BCI and PCI, accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC, conferred with 12B status by UGC, accorded SIRO status by DSIR, awarded star by MHRD’s Innovation Cell, appreciation by AICTE for Clean & Smart Campus and stands 9th in Country in ranking by UI Green Metric. CARE offers 74 academic programs in the faculty of medicine, nursing and allied health sciences (AHS), pharmacy, physiotherapy, architecture, commerce and law. It offers 45 undergraduate courses and more than 100 specialization courses. The Academy has closed the Admission 2021-22 for all the courses.

Adding to this, CARE too received funding from DST, DST Indo-Italy, DST-ECR, DBT, CSIR, ICMR, RSSDI etc., for research projects in all emerging areas.

“Fusion Chettinad”, is an annual event organised by the students every year that has participation from all over Tamil Nadu. • Courses like BA.LL.B. (Hons.), BBA.LL.B (Hons), and BCom.LLB (Hons) require Class 12 with the relevant stream from a recognised board
