College of Ayurved, BVDU, is a constituent college of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The College is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Department of AYUSH and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It is accredited with an “A+” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Presently, the College offers UG, PG, PhD, UG diploma and PG diploma programmes in several specialisations of Ayurveda. These programmes are offered under 14 departments, namely Department of Kriya Sharira, Department of Agata Tantra, Department of Shalya Tantra, Department of Panchakarma and more.

The admissions are conducted under the guidance of BVDU. It offers admission to national as well as international students. Candidates, who meet the given eligibility criteria, can apply through the official website of BVDU. Below mentioned are the course-wise eligibility details regarding College of Ayurved, BVDU admissions:

UG Course

• Admission to BAMS is based on NEET UG cut-off
• Candidates, who have completed Class 12 in Science stream, can apply for BAMS programme
• For BAMS admissions, a candidate must be of 17 years on or before December 31 of the admission year

PG Courses

• Admission to MD and MS programmes is based on AIAPGET scores
• Candidates, who have completed a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream, can apply for PG courses

PhD Courses

• Admission to PhD is based on the All India Entrance Test, conducted by BVDU
• A candidate must have passed a master’s degree in the relevant stream to apply for PhD programme

Additional Courses

• Admission to UG diploma is merit-based
• Candidates, who have completed Class 12, can apply for UG diploma
• PG diploma admissions are based on AIAPGET scores
• Candidates, who have completed a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream, can apply PG diploma

At the UG level, the College offers a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme with a duration of five and a half years, including one year of rotating internship. The programme has a seat intake of 100 students. Admission to BAMS is entrance-based, and candidates are selected based on the marks secured in the entrance exam. Eligibility criteria for BAMS is given in the table below:

At the PG level, the College offers two programmes, namely Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS). MD is offered in 11 different specialisations, whereas MS is offered in three specialisations. The seat intake of both the programmes varies from specliasation-to-specialisation. The duration of both the programmes is three years. The final selection of students is based on the marks secured in the respective entrance exam. The College offers a PhD programme in 14 different specialisations at the doctorate level. The minimum duration of PhD is three years. BVDU conducts a separate entrance test for admission to PhD programme. Candidates are selected based on the entrance exam scores.  Eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:

Apart from the degree courses, the College also offers UG and PG diploma programmes in several specialisations of Ayurveda. UG diploma is a full-time one-year programme, whereas the duration of PG diploma is two years. PG diploma is offered in five specialisations with each specialisation having an intake of two students. The seat intake of UG diploma is 50 students. Admission to UG diploma is merit-based, whereas PG diploma admission is based on an entrance exam. The final selection of students is based in the scores obtained in the respective qualifying/ entrance exam.

Step 3: Choose a course and click on “Apply”.

Step 4: Fill the application form by entering personal and qualification details.

Step 6: Submit the application form by paying the application fee online via debit/ credit cards or net banking.
