East Point Group of Institutions is one of the prominent institutions offering education in the stream of Science, Engineering, Pharmacy and Medicine as well as higher education. Founded in 1998, the institute is located in Avalahalli, Bengaluru.

East Point Group of Institutions is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and is approved by AICTE. The group of institutions offer 45 courses in UG, PG and diploma levels, across eight streams. These courses are offered through 10 colleges. These colleges are:

The EPGI campus is spread over an area of 90 acre and offer facilities such as library, transportation, hospital, hostels, etc. The boarding space includes furnished single occupancy, twin sharing and three sharing accommodation.

EPGI offers UG, diploma and PG courses. EGPI offers 44 courses across 8 streams.

• At UG level, the EGPI offers BE courses with a duration of years.

 EGPI also offers BSc courses in Health Sciences and the duration of each is three years.

• At PG level, the EGPI offers MTech courses along with MBA and MCom
• The duration of all the courses is two years each

EGPI also offers various diploma courses in Health Sciences like Dialysis Technology, X-Ray Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Reports Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Ophthalmology Technology, Pharmacy and the duration of each course in 2 years. EPGI offers multiple specialisations in BTech, MTech, BSc, MCom, BCom and Diploma courses. Students are required to clear the entrance exam for admission to any of the courses offered by the group of colleges.

UG Courses:

• For BE, candidates have to qualify COMEDK or KCET conducted by the Karnataka JEE Main is also accepted.

PG Courses:

• For MTech admission, candidate should qualify GATE or Karnataka-PGCET
• For MBA admission process, a valid score in Karnataka PGCET

During the EPGI placements 2018, a total of 650 students across six UG courses and five PG courses. Over 120 placement offers were made in UG courses by various recruiters and over 20 offers were made in PG courses.

Some of the topmost companies that visited the EPGI placements are Tech-Mahindra, IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant and L&T, etc.

EPGI does not offer any special kind of scholarship to students but they can avail the scholarship schemes which are provided by Government of India or Government of Karnataka for pursuing higher education especially for backward class students.
