About

The Footwear Design & Development Institute was founded in 1986 under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India. It has also been declared as the Institution of National Importance under the FDDI Act 2017. FDDI offers a vast range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes such as BDes, BBA, MDes and MBA through its four schools namely School of Footwear Design & Production, School of Leather Goods & Accessories Design, School of Retail & Fashion Merchandise and School of Fashion Design.

Latest Update August 19, 2021: FDDI AIST 2021 result is out.

Candidates are required to clear FDDI AIST for some of the courses offered by FDDI. There are 12 state-of-the-art FDDI campuses across the country. It has world-class infrastructure and facilities including Smart Class Rooms, Workshops with up-to-date machineries and equipment, IT labs, International Testing Centers, Comprehensive Library, Auditorium and Sports Facilities, and On-Campus Hostels. FDDI Courses and Fees 2021

FDDI offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the streams of Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management, Leather Design, Fashion Design, Footwear Design and Production. FDDI admission for BDes, MDes and MBA are done on the basis of FDDI AIST. Following that, the candidates are called for a college-level counselling session based on their merit and will be offered admission based on their AIST performance and preference. The application form for FDDI AIST are available online on the official website. FDDI admission to BBA programme are merit based.
