Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering abbreviated as GVPCE is a private engineering college which is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. GVPCE BTech Minimum Eligibility 

The general eligibility criteria for admissions to the 4 year BTech programme offered in various disciplines at GVPCE are given below. 

• The candidates having mathematics, physics and chemistry in intermediate are eligible to apply for admissions to the 4 year undergraduate engineering programmes.
• Admissions for the Convener quota seats are made through APEAMCET and students applying for the management quota seats can individually apply for admissions.  
• Admissions for the Diploma holders under the lateral entry scheme into the 2nd year of BTech are made through ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test).

GVPCE BTech Admission and Selection Process 

GVPCE offers four years full-time undergraduate programs (BTech) in various branches of specialization in engineering. Admission to these courses are done through the Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET), conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, on the successful completion of the program by the students through a unified system of examination for the final evaluation.

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) conducted on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is a national level entrance examination. AP EAMCET forms a gateway for admissions to the various undergraduate engineering professional courses available at all the Universities and Private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.  

The selection process is based on the AP EAMCET written exam and web counselling process.

The stages of Web counselling include:

Issue of Notification:

• A notification regarding the list of candidates permitted for the counselling process is issued by the State Council of Higher Education.
• The candidates have to visit the centers in order to compete the registration and verification process.
• The candidates who fail to report for Certificates verification will not be considered for admissions in any of the colleges under any circumstances.  

Certificate Verification:

Candidates should produce the following certificates

• Hall ticket of EAMCET 
• Rank Card of EAMCET
• SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent marks memo 
• Study/Bonafide Certificate from III to X Class and Intermediate (10+2) 
• Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable) 
• Income Certificate issued by MRO issued (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption). 
• PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable) 
• Transfer Certificate. 
• Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres after Verification.

Exercising Options:

• After the Certificate Verification process is completed, a black option form along with the list of colleges, courses offered and the college codes will be given to all the Candidates.
• Based on the codes, the candidates will have to write College and Course code for which they intend to join.
• The candidates are advised to consultation their parents and friends before preparing this list.
• After forming the choice list, the candidates will have to prioritize and write the college’s priority number in the Blank Option Form provided to the.

Modification of Options and Freezing:

• Candidate can change their option entries anytime during the allotted time frame.
• After allotted time, if the candidate is still not satisfied with the Options exercised, they can modify the options on the dates notified by the authority and this will be the final opportunity allowed to the candidate in order to make any changes.

Final Allotments of Seats:

The Final Allotments of seats will be placed on the Web.

The candidates have to report through Self-reporting system and at the allotted college along with the downloaded allotment order.

The two stages mentioned above are a mandatory and mere reporting through self-reporting or reporting at the college is alone not sufficient to retain a seat.

If the candidate under any circumstances, fails to report through self-reporting and reporting at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, their candidature will be cancelled and that candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.

GVPCE BTech Application process 2018

The application process for admissions in the 4 year BTech programmes at GVPCE includes:

• The filling of application process
• Uploading the signature and photograph.
• Final submission of the duly filled application form along with the application fee.

AP EAMCET 2018 Application Process

Following are the steps to fill the AP EAMCET online application forms and make the fee payment as prescribes by the college. These simple steps will help the candidates and guide them throughout the registration and application process.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of AP EAMCET.

Step 3: A web page with Registration Fee payment Procedure will appear on the screen.

The complete schedule of AP EAMCET counselling 2021 is tabulated below:

AP EAMCET 2021 Counselling is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) in three rounds, including First Phase and Second Phase, followed by a Final Phase. JNTU Kakinada is only the exam conducting authority for AP EAMCET on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). During the counselling procedure, seats are allotted to the candidates based on their AP EAMCET ranks, considering their preference of courses and college. 

Candidates, who had participated in earlier phases of Counseling were required to exercise their options afresh for the leftover seats in the final phase. These candidates were not to pay the processing fee once again.  Further, The candidates who have not participated in the first and second phases were directed to get their certificates verified in this final phase.
