GITAM Institute of Management (GIM), Visakhapatnam is a constituent institute of GITAM (Deemed to be University). Ranked 6th in South India as the best private B-School by The Week magazine, GIM Visakhapatnam offers 33 Undergraduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), Doctoral, Diploma and Certificate courses in Management and Commerce streams.
Spread across 97.33-acre lush green campus in Visakhapatnam, GIM Visakhapatnam is recognized by the UGC and by NAAC as A+ Grade University. The institution has state-of-the-art infrastructure with modern classroom, library, academic departments, sports facilities and six hostels. The total intake of students is 1,482 and the institute has 65 full-time, 11 part-time and 12 visiting faculty members. GIM Visakhapatnam offers student exchange programme in collaboration with College of Business Administration (CBA), University of Nebraska, Omaha. GITAM Institute of Management placements 2021 witnessed a total number of 225 MBA students placed through an online campus recruitment drive. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic Crisis, 40 corporates such as Colgate, Nestlé, TVS Motors, Gati, Alstom, RIL, Big Bazaar, The Landmark Group, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, HDFC Ltd, Accenture, Invesco and many others participated in GITAM Institute of Management Placements 2021. Around 86% of the institution's MBA students got placement offers. The Federal Bank offered a salary package of Rs 12 LPA and Exide industries Rs 7.5 LPA.
