Government Medical College, Bettiah (GMC, Bettiah) started its first batch in the year 2013 and is located in the West Champaran district of Bihar. The college is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna and is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). There is an average flow of 1200 patients every day in the hospital.

Candidates will have to apply for NEET-UG examination conducted by MCC to take admission in UG courses.

• Candidates applying for undergraduate courses will have to take the form online from the official website of NTA
• To apply for UG courses, candidates must have atleast passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible
• Candidates should have obtained MBBS degree from any college recognized by the Medical Council of India for MD/MS course
• Admission is done strictly on the basis of Merit in the entrance test 

Government Medical College, Bettiah offers MBBS at undergraduate level. MBBS is offered for 4.5 years of duration with one-year compulsory rotating internship.

• All the MBBS seats, including NRI/Management Quota seats, are allotted only by merit under the state quota through counselling conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna
• Candidates should have the eligibility certificate from AKU, Patna to pursue medical education programmes in the state of Bihar

Selection Process: Selection for MBBS is done on the basis of NEET-UG scores. The merit list is prepared for all the categories based on candidates’ score in NEET-UG counselling. Candidates who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for the admission process.

• For online, one must have to pay through e-wallet, net-banking or debit/credit card.
• The application fee is INR 1400 for General and OBC category candidates, and for ST/SC candidates, the fee is INR 750
