The mode of KMC Manipal admission 2022 is online. The admission to various courses depends on the entrance examination conducted by the DGHS. Those who qualify for the examination will be eligible to participate in the counselling process of NEET. At the UG level, the college offers an MBBS course which is for five years (excluding six months of rotatory internship). At the PG level, the college offers three-year MD and MS courses and a two-year MSc programme. The college also offers super specialty courses namely three-year DM and MC and two-year MPhil courses,14 fellowship programmes ranging from one to three years, and from six days up to 90 days Observership in Surgical Oncology course. The college provides integrated courses like MD-PhD and MS-PhD for a minimum of five years. MD is offered in 21 specialisations, MS in five specialisations, and MSc in seven specialisations. Kasturba Medical College is situated in the Manipal University campus only which is stretched over 600 acre with all the amenities for the students and the faculty. The campus has museums, various sports grounds, well-equipped labs, a gymnasium, and an indoor multipurpose sports complex which is par in excellence with international standards. On the digital front, the campus is enabled with high-speed wi-fi facilities and offers e-learning facilities with 24-hour access to the digital library. The KMC Manipal has its own hospital with 2,032 beds with industry-leading medical and emergency care facilities. There is a proper use of an exam pad for paperless exams and helps to solve questions containing video/ X-ray/ reports/ images/ ECG. The MCC has also released the final result for the Special Round (for 146 seats) of NEET PG Counselling which was conducted in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court of India dated March 31, 2022. Those who have been allocated seats need to report to the institute by April 6, 2022, to complete the admission formalities. NEET PG Counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats of Medical colleges, is conducted in three rounds, including a Mop-up round. The MCC will also conduct a Stray Vacancy Round Counselling after the Mop-up round. Also, this year, the MCC has announced changes in the All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling process for NEET UG. There will be four rounds of counselling this year onwards, AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, Mop-up Round and an AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates will be allowed to register in the first three rounds and not in the final round. The option to upgrade and free exit will be allowed only in Round 1.
