Established in 1998, Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology (KIET) pioneering in technical education, is situated in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. KIET is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ grade. Also, few programmes of the institute are accredited by the NBA. KIET is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical university, Lucknow (AKTU).

The institute offers various courses in the stream of Engineering, Management, Computer application and Pharmacy. These courses are offered under 13 departments operating at KIET Ghaziabad.

Krishna Engineering College and Indraprastha Engineering College are the other campuses of KIET. The institute comprises over 1,800 students and 250 faculty members.    

KIET has collaboration with the AIESEC and the IAESTE, that ensures students to get international exposure and provides them a platform to learn a foreign language. The institute has a close connection with the Indian Industries Association providing industry exposure to students. The institute has a library which has plenty of books, approved research center and computer laboratories for student learning. KIET offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls.

KIET Ghaziabad offers a total of 19 courses in four streams, including Engineering, Management, Computer Application and Pharmacy. All these courses are offered at both UG and PG levels. While UG courses are of four years duration, PG courses are of two years duration.

KIET Admission Process 2021

Admission process of KIET happens every year during the months of July and August. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) scores, a state-level Engineering entrance test conducted by AKTU, are required for the KIET admission process. Below are the basic criteria needed to be eligible for admission to KIET Ghaziabad:

UG courses

• Admission to both BTech and BPharm is based on a valid score in UPSEE counselling
• 85% seats of the total seats in both the courses are reserved for students who qualify UPSEE counselling. The remaining 15% seats are filled under management quota.

PG courses

• Admission to MBA, MCA and MTech is based on a valid score in UPSEE counselling
• 85% seats of the total seats in both the courses are reserved for students who qualify UPSEE counselling. The remaining 15% seats are filled under management quota.

KIET Placements 2020/19

Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology (KIET) has a committed placement cell, Corporate Relations and Placement Centre (CRPC), to ensure active placement for KIET Ghaziabad students. Companies, such as TCS, Samsung India Electronics, Wipro, etc., visit each year for KIET placement drives. The Internship & Industry Partnership Cell (IIPC) is a dedicated team under the internship guideline of AICTE offers students a various internship programmes in which students can upgrade themselves. KIET Scholarships 2021

Scholarships offered by KIET Ghaziabad are based on the performance of students all through their academics. Students securing top ten positions in university are given scholarships of 100% annual fee for the forthcoming years. For each year, first and second position holders will be awarded scholarships of Rs 12,000 and Rs 6,000, respectively. Also, students scoring more than 75% aggregate in odd semester examinations are awarded with a certain amount of scholarship each year. Scholarships awarded by the Department of Social Welfare Government of India for SC/ST categories of people are also available.
