Established in 1835, Madras Medical College is an educational institute located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Madras Medical College was started in 1664 as a small hospital that was treating the sick soldiers of the East India Company. Those who qualify the examination are called for counselling process of NEET. At the UG level, the college offers five and half-year MBBS and four-year BPharm, BSc, and BPT courses. NEET PG Counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats of Medical colleges, is conducted in three rounds, including a Mop-up round. The MCC will also conduct a Stray Vacancy Round Counselling after the Mop-up round. Also, this year, the MCC has announced changes in the All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling process for NEET UG. There will be four rounds of counselling this year onwards, AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, Mop-up Round and an AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates will be allowed to register in the first three rounds and not in the final round. The option to upgrade and free exit will be allowed only in Round 1.
