| Admission Details | National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology, Ranchi a Government of India co-education research institute located in Hatia. It is an autonomous and Centrally Funded Technical Institute which offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes in engineering and forge technology. The 4 year BTech programmes are offered in Metallurgy and Mterial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering. In addition to the above enlisted programmes, the institute also offers advanced diploma programmes in Foundry and Forge Technology.
NIFFT Ranchi Minimum Eligibility The minimum eligibility criteria for admissions into the 4 year BTech programmes offered at NIFFT Ranchi states that the candidate needs to complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 70% marks in science stream from a recoganised board. NIFFT Ranchi Admission and Selection Process Engineering aspirants seeking admission at NIFFT Ranchi in the available engineering branches will be given admission on the basis of their JEE Main scores. On the basis of the candidate’s performance in JEE Main, they will be further called for JoSAA/CSAB counselling to evaluate candidates on the basis of their document verification and seat allotment. NIFFT Ranchi Application Process The application process for admissions at NIFFT Ranchi commences with the online registrations for JEE Mains and ends with the exam results announced along with the merit list of candidates eligible for the process of document verification and seat allotment conducted by JoSAA or CSAB. On successful completion of the registration process, candidates will be asked to make the payment of the prescribed application fee. JEE Main Application Process JEE Main 2018 application process comprises 3 steps as enlisted below;
Once the applications are received and scrutinized, candidates will then be asked to register themselves for JoSAA counselling. JoSAA 2018 counselling schedule and details have been released. The registration process for JoSAA counselling will commence from June 15, only after JEE Advanced 2018 results are declared on June 10. Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts the counselling process for admissions to IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), NITs(National Institute of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) and GFTIs(Government funded Technical Institutes). JoSAA 2018 Eligibility Criteria: As per JoSAA eligibility criteria, only JEE Main exam qualifiers will be allowed to participate in the counselling process. JoSAA 2018 Participating Institutes: A total of 97 institutes (23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 20 Other-GFTIs) participate in JoSAA Counselling. Take a look at JoSAA participating institute here! JoSAA 2018 Counselling Schedule: JoSAA 2018 counselling process commenced from July 10. The counselling process is schedules to conclude on July 19. The process typically commences in the month of June, every year. However in 2017, the process was held on June 15 and continued till July 22. CSAB Counselling Schedule: The counselling process for admissions into the undergraduate engineering programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board commences from the last week of June. In 2018, CSAB counselling process commenced from June 21 in an online mode. As many as 19 institutes are currently participating in CSAB 2018 counselling process. NIFFT Ranchi Admission Cycle The registration process for admissions into the undergraduate engineering programmes offered at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad typically from the first week of August. Official Notification on the same is also intimated to the candidates during September-December every year. However, the admission cycle typically commences from the first week of April along with JEE Mains and concludes in July after JoSAA counselling process. The seat allotment process for candidates seeking admission through CSAB counselling will last till August.
