Puducherry Technological University was established in 1984 as Pondicherry Engineering College and was later given the status of a University. Approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the university is ranked in 100-150 band by NIRF in 2021 and 2020.

Pondicherry Engineering College Admission Process 2021

Admission to Puducherry Technological University UG courses begins in February and ends in March, whereas admission for PG courses begins in August and ends in October. Candidates who are willing to take admission can apply for any course which is available in the college. • Scholarship - Merit- Cum -Means

In this scholarship, 20% of students in PG Courses are eligible for MCM Scholarship. The eligibility of the scholarship is on a merit basis (Each semester) and on the basis of parent income. The annual income should not be more than 2,5,000. The amount of scholarship is 750 p.m. in each semester.

• Scholarship - M.sc. Marine Biology and Disaster Management

 All selected students are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship amount is 1000 p.m. to study the courses at Port Blair, Andamans.

• Scholarship – M.tech Computational Biology

  All selected students will be eligible for this scholarship of 12500 p.m.

• Scholarship – For PG rank holders in the university

 The students who are rank holders of each University. And pursue a Master’s Degree are eligible for this scholarship.
