Established in 2003, the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT) is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. SIRT is approved by the AICTE, accredited by the NBA and is affiliated to Barkatullah University (BU Bhopal). It is the first institute of Sagar Group of Institutions (SGI), Bhopal and has been certified with ISO 9001:2008. SGI has a total of four sister institutes, including SIRT, SIRT-S, SIRT-E and SIRT-Indore offering over 25 courses. It has established the SAGE University at Indore and Bhopal in 2017 and 2020, respectively.

Students of the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology are trained by well-experienced and qualified faculty members. The Institute offers total 12 programmes under the streams of Engineering, Computer Application and Management and it has five departments under it as mentioned below:

• BTech admissions are based on candidates’ valid score in JEE Main as well as merit, followed by DTE Counselling

PG Courses

• Admissions to MTech programme are granted through DTE counselling based on a valid score in GATE and merit

• Selection to MBA programme is based on candidates’ scores in CMAT or MET conducted by Vyapam followed by DTE counselling
• Candidates, who have qualified Pre-MCA test conducted by Vyapam, will be shortlisted for MCA programme
