The Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology is considered one of the best engineering colleges in the country. Located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, it has a sprawling 54-acre campus having all modern facilities. As per the Times Engineering Survey 2014, it was ranked two among the emerging engineering colleges of the country. 

It is the first privately owned engineering college of central India to offer in-house finishing school to its students. The different engineering undergraduate courses offered include B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. 

The college offers MTech courses in Industrial engineering and management, Computer Science and Engineering and Structure Engineering. Also, Diploma courses in Civil and Mechanical engineering are offered. 

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology Admission Process 

For BTech courses, the students must clear the JEE Main. For the general category, 50% marks in class 12 having Physics, Chemistry and Maths is required. For OBC, SC & ST, a minimum of 45% marks in class 12 having Physics, Chemistry and Maths is necessary. For enrolment in MTech courses, students clearing the GATE exam will be preferred over others. For the other General, OBC, SC & ST students, the marks in their BTech exam will be considered. For diploma courses, the students clearing Pre-Polytechnic Test (PPT) will be preferred. For other General, OBC, SC & ST students, marks in their class 10 will be taken into consideration.

The placement cell of the college has the responsibility of nurturing the students and preparing them for campus recruitments. They help the students to obtain summer internships and attend industrial training for equipping them for the skills to grab job offers. 

Mock interviews, group discussions and practise aptitude tests are held for students. Companies such as Digivalet, Capgemini, ESS Software Retail-On, L&T Infotech, HGS, Capital via, Arucom Electronics, HCE Software, Ujaas Energy Ltd., Aashi Glass Automotive, Amazon Development Centre, Aristrocat Gaming Syntel, ISC Software, Mphasis, Consutadd, Linkruit, TCS and DATA 64 have recruited students from various batches.
