MBA-IT and MSC students are assessed for placements during their third semester (from August to October). The institute conducts its placement process in two modes– on campus and online.
If we see the SICSR placement trend of past few years, it is witnessed that MBA-IT has improved its placement record to 98 per cent in 2019 with an increase of 8 per cent as compared to 2018.
As far as MSc placements are concerned, there is growth too. MSc has shown constant improvement in its overall placement record especially in 2019 when it went up to 98 per cent with an increase of 5 per cent when compared to 2018.

| Admission Details | Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), Pune is a constituent of Symbiosis International deemed to be University (SIU). SIU was accredited with an “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute was ranked 12th for BBA in 2019 by Indian Today. Apart from this, in 2018, the institute was ranked 1st for BCA by India Today. The institute offers UG and PG programmes in the field of Computer Sciences, Management, Information Technology, System Security and many more.
SICSR Pune admissions are conducted online through the official website of the institute. The institute offers BCA and BBA programme at the UG level. MBA and MCA are offered at the PG level. The admission process begins in March every year.

The institute offers a full-time BCA programme and a BBA programme in Information Technology at the UG level. BBA and BCA have a course duration of three years, consisting of six semesters. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in SET and the performance in Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Eligibility criteria for the same is as follows:
MSc and MBA are offered with a course duration of two years, consisting of four semesters. MSc is offered in two different specialisations, namely Computer Application (CA) and System Security (SS) and MBA is offered in Information Technology (IT). Name of the specialisations along with the eligibility criteria are mentioned below: Selection criteria: Candidates will be selected based on the marks secured in SNAP and the performance in Group Exercise (GE) and PI-WAT.
Note: Students appearing for final year graduation can also apply, but such candidates need to submit a proof of passing the qualifying exam at the time of admission.
