What's new at TAPMI? For TAPMI MBA admissions, the GDPI is scheduled to be conducted from February 11 to 27, 2022.

TAPMI is a constituent unit of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), from 1st August 2021. It is recognised by the AICTE, T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Karnataka. TAPMI is accredited by both The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). It is consistently ranked among the top 1% of B-Schools in India. TAPMI offers a full-time MBA programme across various specialisations, including General, Marketing, HRM and BKFS.

The institute has international collaborations with various universities and institutes such as Rennes School of Business, ECS Rennes, Emporia State University, University of Dubai, Macquarie University, among others. In the 2022 placement drive, the highest CTC offered to students was INR 32.2 LPA. The institute also awards scholarships to meritorious students. Below-mentioned are some of the highlights related to TAPMI:

TAPMI offers full-time MBA programmes across various specialisations such as General, Marketing, HRM and BKFS for a duration of two years. Candidates who are in their final year can also apply to TAPMI courses. TAPMI admissions are entrance-based and it is mandatory for candidates to secure the prescribed cut-off to become eligible to apply. Qualified candidates are required to appear for the English Proficiency Test (EPT)+ Moderated Group Discussion (MGD) as well as Personal Interview (PI) round. Final selection is based on candidates’ verbal ability, academic profile, work experience and scores in the entrance exam, EPT, MGD and PI. Note: The above fee includes a refundable fee worth INR 40,000. Students will receive the amount at the time of course completion. In addition to this, in the absence of the official update, the fee for the E-PGPM programme is sourced from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative.

The application process of TAPMI is conducted in online mode. The application fee up to two programmes is INR 2,000, up to three and four programmes is INR 4,000 and INR 6,000, respectively. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to know application process of TAPMI:

Step 1: Visit the official website of TAPMI.

Step 2: Now, click on admission tab and create a Login ID and password.

Step 3: Fill the TAPMI application form.

Step 4: Select the respective program. 

Step 5: Upload the required documents.

Step 6: Submit the application form.

In 2022, more than a 6% increase was witnessed in the number of PPOs. Out of the 507 students who graduated from the PGDM programme, six opted out of the placement process and 501 students were placed, resulting in a 100% placement rate. For aspiring students, TAPMI provides scholarships up to INR 2.9 crores. Under the Dr Ramdas Pai Merit Scholarship scheme, around 50 students can bag scholarships worth INR 2.4 crores. For the 2022-24 batch TAPMI has provided the following scholarship schemes:

Other Scholarships/ Academic Awards

The Institute emphasises students’ practical learning, for which it provides them required facilitates in the campus. Apart from standard academics, students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities. In addition to this, the campus is equipped with modules like BrandScan, LADC, SMIC, Samnidhy, TAPMI Finance Lab, QOTB and student clubs & committees to ensure student development. The institute also facilitates separate hostels for boys and girls.
