Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication and Creative Arts, also known as WWI, was established in 2006 and is Asia’s largest film, communication and creative arts institute. Whistling Woods International application process is conducted in online mode. Admission to all the UG, PG, integrated and diploma courses offered by the institute is based on a valid score obtained in Whistling Woods International (WWI) Entrance Exam. Final selection is subject to a candidate's performance in the Personal Interview (PI) round, conducted by the institute.

As per Government of India norms, 15%, 7.5% and 27% reservation is available to SC, ST and OBC category students, respectively. In addition, 3% supernumerary seats are allocated to PWDs, 1% to Kashmiri migrants and 5% to the children of the Armed Forces Employees.

The institute offers several courses catering to all major verticals of the media & entertainment industry, namely Acting, Animation, Cinematography, Direction, Editing, Producing, Screenwriting, Sound, Visual Effects, Production Design, Music Production, Media Management Studies, Event Management, Fashion and Visual Communication Design. At the UG level, Whistling Woods International offers BSc, BA and BBA programmes in several specialisations. The duration of all the UG courses is three years each. MBA and MA are offered at the PG level with a duration of two years each.
