Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) is a department under MRIIRS (deemed-to-be University) that offers UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes in the field of Engineering, Science and Technology. Accredited with the NAAC ‘A’ Grade, this Faculty is approved by NBA for a few BTech programmes and has associations with a number of organisations in the industry for its courses. In order to create technically advanced and futuristic leaders, Faculty of Engineering and Technology has collaborated with a number of foreign universities which include Purdue University Northwest (North West Indiana, USA), The University of North Texas, Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago, Illinois) and Curtin University (Perth, Australia). Along with that, it has a good record of placing its students across majority of its departments. Over the years, a large number of students got placed with top companies such as HCL Technologies, Maruti Suzuki, Huawei Technologies, TCS, Infosys, L&T Infotech, Wipro and Hewitt Technology among others.

  • IBM: FET MRIIRS in collaboration with IBM offers new-age technology course specialisations, access to an online eco-system platform, one-week Industry Interaction Programme at IBM (Bangalore) along with a few certificates for various modules.
  • IOCL: It provides training in emerging areas related to emission control and fuel development, and research projects that are based on clean fuels and pollution reduction.
  • Intel Corporation: The programme with Intel provides an opportunity to the candidates to learn and get an understanding about the most important technologies driving the modern world, such as Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. Faculty of Engineering and Technology MRIIRS application process 2021 is completely online. Candidates can apply for all the courses on the official admission portal of MRIIRS (apply.manavrachna.edu.in/) on payment of the application fee of Rs 1,200 by following the given steps:

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology under MRIIRS follows all the reservation norms as set by the deemed University. Details are as follows:

  • Relaxation of 5% in minimum eligibility criteria is given to candidates belonging to any of the mentioned categories: SC / ST/ BC /OBC/ Women/ North East States (seven)/ sports personnel (Participation in national-level/ son/ daughter of defence personnel and foreign nationals for all the courses being offered by the institute
  • Reservation in 15% of the total seats in all programmes are reserved for the NRIs
  • Two seats are reserved for all courses under supernumerary quota for Kashmiri migrants students of Jammu and Kashmir as per the directions given by UGC. A relaxation of 10% in the minimum eligibility criteria shall be offered to such candidates. Domicile requirement shall be waived off. Also, the intake capacity of various courses could be increased by 5%, if required.
