DBIT has an active placement cell which is well-structured and comprises senior members of the institute and student volunteers. The primary responsibility of the placement cell is to provide an informative training programme, sustainable job opportunities and internships opportunities to the students. Academic Scholarship worth Rs 8 crores is awarded to the most deserving students who have enroled themselves in any of the DBIT courses before 15 May 2020. Such candidates also need to have a high aggregate in Class 12.
This scholarship is awarded to the students who hail from Uttarakhand. It is in the form of 100 per cent fee waiver of first year’s tuition fee.
This scholarship is for the wards of Covid-19 health workers, police and army personnel and sanitisation workers. Such students are entitled to a scholarship benefit worth Rs 3 crore in the form of tuition fee waiver, provided they have enrolled in any of the DBIT courses before May 30, 2020.
