DBIPR Admission Process

DBIPR accepts admission applications for its programmes in two modes, including online and walk-in registration. Seat reservations offered at the institute are as per the regulations of the government of Uttarakhand. A brief overview of the DBIPR admission process is listed below:

  • Admission to BPharm and DPharm programme is granted based on aggregate score obtained by eligible candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam

DBIPR Courses

DBIPR offers three courses, including BPharm, DPharm and MPharm. The BPharm programme is also offered in lateral entry mode. DBIPR Placements

DBIPR has an active placement cell that functions centrally at DBGI. It is well-structured and comprises senior members of the institute and student volunteers. The primary responsibility of the placement cell is to provide informative training programmes, sustainable job and internship opportunities to the students. The placement cell also conducts frequent placement drives for the final year students.

DBGI also has a Corporate Resource Center (CRC) that works tirelessly to help students find placements with top Indian and multinational firms. It also facilitates placement opportunities for students from other institutes. To be eligible for placements, a student must have a minimum of 75 per cent attendance in academics and 80 per cent or above in training classes, every semester. However, the institute allows three provisions for the students so that each one of them has at least one job offer, including on-campus, off-campus and in-company placements.

DBIPR Scholarships

DBIPR scholarships are provided through an online registration process. For availing such benefits, candidates need to register on the official scholarship portal of the institute (www.dbgidoon.ac.in/scholarship). Scholarships 2020 assistance has been initiated by DBGI for students’ educational and personal development. These scholarships are categorised under three indices as listed below:

  • Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarship worth Rs 8 crores is awarded to the most deserving students who have enroled themselves in any of the DBIPR courses before 15 May 2020. Such candidates also need to have a high aggregate in Class 12.

  • Uttarakhand Domicile Scholarships

This scholarship is awarded to the students who hail from Uttarakhand. It is in the form of the 100 per cent fee waiver of the first year’s tuition fee.

  • COVID Warriors Scholarships

This scholarship is for the wards of Covid-19 health workers, police and army personnel and sanitisation workers. Such students are entitled to a scholarship benefit worth Rs 3 crores in the form of tuition fee waiver, provided they have enrolled in any of the DBIPR courses before May 30, 2020.

DBIPR Application Process 2021

For applying to DBIPR, the process is available online as well as offline mode. For the online process, students must fill a registration form available on the official website of the institute, which is https://admission.dbgidoon.ac.in. The registration fee is Rs 5,000, which is accepted through NEFT, RTGS and Demand Draft (DD) also.

Walk-in Admission:

  1. Candidates, who want to apply through the walk-in admission process, can directly visit the DBIPR campus and meet the admission counsellor
  2. The counsellor assists the candidates regarding different courses and the eligibility criteria
  3. The candidate can then fill the admission form and submit the photocopy of the required documents at the campus
