GITAM Hyderabad Business School (GITAM HBS or GHBS), a constituent of GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, is an institution of quality education in management, research, executive training, and consultancy. The college offers UG, PG, and Doctoral management degree programmes to students. GHBS has also awarded with ASSOCHAM National Excellence Award in 2016.  Accreditations

GITAM (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management) is deemed to be University, established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, established in 1980 in Visakhapatnam with off-campuses at Hyderabad and Bengaluru. GITAM has been accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade. Ministry of HRD recognised GITAM as Category ‘I’ University and granted Graded Autonomy. GITAM has also been recognised by UGC as a Research University and accorded 12 B status.

Faculty

The course curriculum is relevant to present times and it is revised from time to time such that the students won't be behind the industry requirements. The teachers are highly qualified and most of them are holding doctorate in various fields. Various activities, conclaves, and international conferences are also organised by students to help them get exposure to the industry.

Infrastructure

Following are the facilities offered by the University to the students:

Library: It has a good collection of over 34 lakh books and e-journals, around 8,500 national and international print journals. The library is enabled with INFONET services that facilitate online access to e-books and journals.

Hostels: The University has two boys and two girls’ hostels for its students. The hostel also has facilities like Wi-Fi, Round the clock security, Availability of qualified doctors, and a resident warden.

Laboratories: The laboratories at the institute provides excellent opportunities to the faculty and students for conducting innovative research in multiple disciplines. GHBS has one of the most modern computer labs equipped with high-end software.

Computer/IT Facility: The Institute has a computer lab with over 200 desktops and internet facility for its students.

GHBS offers two-year full-time MBA Programme, MPhil and PhD in management as well as the undergraduate programmes: BBA, BBA (Financial Markets) in collaboration with NSE Academy, BBA with CIMA, BBA (Business Analytics), and BCom (Hons) with ACCA.

Admission of candidate will be conducted through GIM Online Test (GOT) 2021. Candidates with valid MAT/GMAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/NMAT scores are exempted from GOT-2021.

• Candidates who have qualified any of GOT 2021 or CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/NMAT/ATMA will need to apply to GHBS. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores, educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, graduation, and work experience.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process that will ill include Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) besides other qualitative parameters that will constitute the core components of the final stage of the selection process.
