IFIM Law School, Bengaluru is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubli and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It is one of the three institutions under IFIM Group and the other two are IFIM Business School and IFIM College. IFIM is recognised as 2nd most outstanding Law School of Excellence by the GHRDC survey, 2021 and ranked as 9th best private Law school in India by Outlook August 2021.

The faculty is embedded with academicians who hail from reputed law schools including the University of East Anglia, University of London, Queens Mary USA, University of Toronto, Indiana University USA, and many others from around the world. IFIM Law School, Bengaluru was founded in 2014 and started providing Law education using its delivery model, namely SMART Lawyer, executed by a meritorious team of faculty. IFIM has also signed a path-breaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ISDE Law School, Spain.

IFIM Law School, Bengaluru offers BBA LLB and LLB of five and two-year duration, respectively. Both the programmes are available in full-time mode. IFIM Law School's admission process for its courses is entrance-based and the school conducts IFIM’s Law Admission Test (ILAT) for candidates. Apart from ILAT, candidates with a valid score in CLAT/ LSAT, can also apply to IFIM courses. The table below presents courses and their eligibility criteria and fee:

*In addition to the above-stated fee, the candidate is required to pay an additional one-time fee of Rs 5,000 towards the Student Council Fund; INR 5,000 towards IFIM Alumni Association and Rs 5,000 towards the University eligibility fee.

IFIM Law School Bengaluru admission is entrance-based. The final selection to all the programmes is based on a candidates’ exam scores and performance in the Personal Interview (PI) round conducted by the school. IFIM has an internship and placement cell to help students in getting placed under lawyers, law firms, in-house legal departments, NGOs, etc. Each student is assigned a faculty mentor during placements to ensure that they gain exposure to their chosen field.
