Candidates can apply for LM Thapar School of Management admission to various PG and PhD courses in online mode. Admission to all the courses is based on merit.

Admission to the MBA & MBA – Business Analytics & Big Data programmes at LM Thapar School of Management is competitive, and is based on a comprehensive assessment of the intent and ability of the applicant to pursue a formal learning programme in management. Basis the application form submitted, applicants will invited for further assessment and interview, as per the following:

1. Professional Readiness, comprises of Video statement of purpose and an Interview. The weightage given to this component is 40%.

2. Academic Readiness, evaluated basis applicant's performance in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GRE/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ SNAP. Applicants who have not taken any of the above-mentioned tests will be required to take the Thapar Management Aptitude Test (TMAT) on the day of the interview. The weightage given to this component is 50%

3. Merit performance, includes Class 10, 12 and graduation scores. The weightage given to this component is 10%.

 A minimum of six years of work experience is required to apply for EMBA. Admission to PhD programme is based on UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT or GRE score. Candidates with a valid entrance exam score are required to appear for the Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by PI conducted by the school.
