Established in the academic year 2015-16, School of Architecture one of the nine departments under CMR University. Located in Bengaluru, this School offers UG, doctoral and certificate-level programmes in the field of Architecture such as BArch, PhD and a Certificate in Interior Design. Approved by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi, one of the major objectives of this School is to engage with building industries, civic bodies and general public to work towards addressing the civic issues of Bengaluru city and its environment.

This School engages all its students in studio guidance during the main course of Architectural Design. A number of lectures, quizzes and knowledge-based supportive courses are also organised to provide hands-on work experience in foundation studies. Additionally, various workshops are conducted for the students to give them exposure to the latest software and digital media being used in the industry and a majority of students are sent to engage in the field for the survey of sites and study tours.
