The institute, apart from having centralised placements at the university level, has established a Career Advisory Services Committee that is in charge of carrying out all the career-related affairs. It not only just looks into the summer internships process but also is working towards offering career advice to the students. A. X-GMT stands for Xavier General Management Aptitude Test. It is an online admission test conducted by the University for admission to MBA programmes. 

Q. How can one fill the application form?

A. XSOS application form can be filled up through online mode only from the official website of XUB. Candidates need access to an internet-enabled computer to apply for it.

Q. Should students be ready with any documents before filling the online application form?

A. Yes, before filling up the online application form, applicants must be ready with a valid email ID, academic credentials, work-related information, and the digital copy (in prescribed size/pixel format) of their passport-size photograph and signature.

Q. Can one edit the application form after submission?

A. No, once submitted, editing of data is not possible in the application form.

Q. Can a student select his/her interview location?

A. Yes, while filling the online application form, candidates are asked to select a city from the list. Interviews are conducted in various cities, such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Bhubaneswar.

Q. Are hostels compulsory for students taking admission for MBA?

A. Yes, all the MBA programmes at XUB are residential (so is for XSOS) and hostels are compulsory for all such students. Whereas for the other doctoral, bachelor’s degree courses, staying in a hostel is optional.
