MEET 2022 (Masters of Education Entrance Test) is conducted by Patna University every year in order to accept admissions to the 2 years Masters of Education (MEd) programme offered by the University Department of Education, Patna University. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for MEET exam in order to seek admission to the post graduate programme in education.

Candidates seeking admission to the MEd programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in one of the following programmes:

(i)  BEd

(ii)  BAEd/BScEd

(iii) BElEd

(iv) DElEd/DEd with a Graduate Degree (with 50% mark in each)

As per Reserved Category Quota

Reservation of seats for the candidates of reserved categories shall be as per state Government’s rule. The reserved category candidates shall have to submit a copy of the certificate mentioning that the candidate belongs to a particular reserved category from an officer not below the rank of SDM. 

Candidates belonging to the PWD category shall have to submit a copy of the disability certificate issued by the District CMO/ Civil Surgeon with the Application Form. Reservation of seats will be applicable only when the candidate fulfils the minimum eligibility conditions and must have obtained the minimum qualifying marks (i.e. 50%) at the entrance test.

The Visually Impaired candidates will be provided “Writers” by the University. The qualification of the “Writers” will be decided by the University as per provisions prevailing in the Patna University. However, such candidates should apply to the Controller of Examinations, 4 Patna University in this regard giving the Entrance Test Application Form Number at last 15 days prior to the date of Entrance Test (MEET) and obtain a written permission.

MEET exam admission process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Fill application form

Aspirants need to fill the application form online on the official website.In order to fill the application form for entrance exam for MEd admissions they need to register on admission portal. Applicants also need to upload their photograph and scanned signature such that it is maximum of 50KB in size and is in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.

It is to be paid either through online by credit/debit card or through the Bank Challan whose proforma can be generated online by opting cash payment mode while filing. The Application Form is to be submitted at any of the Allahabad Bank Branches. 

Step 2: Download admot card

Aspirants can download the admit card from the official website of the varsity by logging into their registered accounts.

Step 2: Appear for MEET 2022 entrance test

Students need to appear for entrance exam as per the schedule mentioned in the important dates section. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before commencement of the exam.

Step 3: Check MEET 2022 exam result

The university would be declaring the result on the official website. The varsity would also display the result on the notice board. 

Step 4: Class commencement 

The university will commence with the classes soon after the MEET 2022 results are announced.
