Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) 2022 exam for round three the assessment test is scheduled to be held on April 17. For round two, the test was on January 23. Meanwhile, for round four the test is scheduled to be held on June 5, 2022. For round one, Ashoka University conducted the Assessment Test was held on November 21. For the academic session 2022, the application process for UG courses started on October 4. Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) 2022 application submission deadline for round 1 was November 10, for round 2 the deadline was January 17, for round 3 the last date was April 6 and for round 4 the deadline is May 25.

The Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) is conducted by Ashoka University which offers undergraduate programme admission to candidates at the varsity. Candidates who have given the SAT/ACT exam also need to appear for Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) and the higher score will be evaluated and be taken into consideration. The admission process for UG courses offered at Ashoka University is such that candidates will be evaluated at each stage of the process. The university offers BA/BSc programmes where students can choose a major from a set of 9 pure or 8 interdisciplinary subjects. In addition, candidates can choose two co-curricular courses and a minor (optional) from a range of disciplines. Ashoka University conducts AAT 2021 in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate level programmes offered at the varsity. Candidates seeking admission in Ashoka University have to fill the AAT application form which will be available on the official website of the university on from October 14, 2021, for onwards.

The AAT eligibility criteria is such that candidates can secure admission in Ashoka University UG programmes if they have appeared for SAT or ACT or Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) or have their final Class XII board/equivalent examination scores. All applicants applying with SAT/ ACT scores need to mention their scored while filling the AAT application form.

For applicants whose final Class XII board examination scores are not available at the time of evaluation, the SAT/ACT or the Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) may be used to make a firm offer of admission. This is especially helpful for the first round of admissions where most applicants may not have their final board examination scores. No applicant will be rejected before receiving the final Class XII board scores.

Given below is the Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) exam schedule for the academic session 2022 

Step 1: Registration

To apply for AAT 2021, candidates will first have to register themselves on the official website of the varsity. The candidate needs to register themselves with a valid email-ID which is working.  The login details for the AAT application form will be emailed to the candidate on the submitted ID sent. All communications from Ashoka University will be sent to the aspirant’s registered email-ID.

Step 2: Fill Ashoka University Application Form

Candidates need to fill the application form for Ashoka University admissions online on the official website of the varsity. There is no application fee to fill the form for Ashoka University UG admissions 2021. Applicant are advised to carefully and thoroughly check the details being filled in. Along with the application form, candidates will also have to upload their documents along with photographs.

Step 3: Give AAT

Next, candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview process need to appear for Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT). Candidates are informed that AAT exam is conducted online along with a written test, followed by a Personal Interview (PI).

AAT Process as follows:

• Write Essay: On the day that candidates are called for the interview round they need to first write an essay, on the spot. It is mandatory for all candidates to write the essay. The time duration in which candidates need to write the essay is 30 minutes and the essay should not be longer than 650 words.
• AAT: The AAT will be conducted in online mode and questions will be based on problem-solving skills (included numerical and spatial reasoning) and crucial thinking skills (including understanding arguments and reasoning using everyday language). The AAT has 40 MCQs.

Step 4: Appear for Interview Round

Further, candidates who clear the AAT need to appear for the interview round. Ashoka University conducts panel interviews in order to shortlist aspirants for admissions 2021. Once applicants have gone through the interview round they can expect to receive one of the following communications:

• Firm offer of admission
• A conditional offer of admission
• Waitlisted (possibility of an offer at the end of the admissions cycle or earlier)
• Deferred (possibility of an offer after receiving final class XII scores)
• Denial of admission

Step 5: Check Ashoka University Admission Result

Ashoka University releases a list with the names of candidates who have been shortlisted for UG admissions 2021. Candidates whose names appear in this admission list need to deposit an amount of Rs 2,60,000 to confirm their acceptance of admission before the deadline.

Once the application form has been submitted successfully by the candidate and has been reviewed by the Admissions Committee, applicants are shortlisted for the interview round which will be conducted across multiple cities.

Note: For applicants who are unable to travel to any of the mentioned cities where in-person interview are conducted, there is a provision for a Skype interview with the interview panel.

The AAT application forms are available on the official website of Ashoka University from October 04, 2021, onwards. The last date for submission of AAT application forms along with the acceptance deadline varies on the rounds.

The AAT 2021 application forms are available on the official website of the varsity from October 04, 2021, onwards. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application forms. Four different rounds are conducted for admission in UG courses offered by the Ashoka University

Round 1: The first round of AAT application forms are available on the official website of the university from October 04 onwards. The last date to submit the AAT application form was November 10, 2021. The decision notification will be released on January 14, 2022. The acceptance deadline is till February 11, 2022.

Round 2: The second round of the AAT application forms are available from October 04 onwards. The last date of submitting the AAT application forms for the second round was till January 17, 2022. The decision notification for the second round will be released on March 18, 2022 and the acceptance deadline is till April 22, 2022.

Round 3: The third round of the AAT application forms are available from October 04, 2021, onwards. The last date to submit the AAT application form is till April 6, 2022. The decision notification for the third round will be released on May 27, 2022, and the acceptance deadline is till June 17, 2022.

Round 4: The fourth round of the AAT application forms are available on the official website of the university from October 04, 2021, onwards. The last date of submission of the AAT application forms is till May 25, 2022. The AAT decision notification will be released on July 8 and the acceptance deadline is till August 3, 2022.

The 2021/22 academic year commences from August 22, 2022, onwards.
