As of January 16, the registration process for the Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2021 has begun for admission to first-year UG medical programmes (MBBS and BDS) at government and private medical and dental schools in Bihar, as well as the state's government-run veterinary college (BVSc and AH) based on the merit list and rank list of the UGMAC-2021, which is compiled from the National Testing Agency's (NTA) NEET. Bihar's Central Examination Board (BCECE) will accept applications until January 22 at 10 pm.

According to the official notice, "For DQ applicants, it is important to remember that at the time of counselling or document verification, they must present a DQ certificate issued by only authorised centres or institutes on the prescribed proforma as per para-3.6.3 (Annexure-5, 6, 7) of the prospectus for UGMAC-2021. For this, candidates must visit any authorised medical college, centre, or institute with the downloaded online application form for a disability test in order to acquire a disability certificate after filling out and downloading the physical copy of the online application. The candidate is solely responsible for obtaining a certificate from one of the above-mentioned institutions or centres."

Bihar NEET 2021 counselling will be conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), Patna. BCECEB being the conducting body, will release the allotment letter and result for Bihar NEET counselling. The registrations for the Bihar NEET 2021 Counselling (UGMAC) will be done online. However, a candidate will have to attend the counselling process in person. Candidates must note that the state medical counselling for Bihar is also known as Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC). The admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BVSc & AH courses against the state quota seats will be allocated through Bihar NEET counselling 2021. To participate in the UGMAC, a candidate must qualify for NEET 2021. Read on to know more about the counselling of Bihar NEET 2021.

• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• Candidates must have qualified NEET 2021
• The candidate must be a domicile of Bihar and should have passed Class 11 and 12 from an institute located in Bihar

Exceptions to the above rule are as follows:

1. A candidate who has completed their education from a state other than Bihar, but their parents are domicile of Bihar
2. A candidate whose parents are employees of the Bihar Government
3. A candidate whose parents are employees of the Central Government, currently posted in Bihar

NEET 2021 merit list will be shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) with BCECEB. The candidates who had opted for Bihar NEET UGMAC counselling while filling the application form for the entrance test. Candidates, who qualify for NEET 2021, fulfil the eligibility conditions and wish to participate in the counselling process need to register on the official website of BCECEB.

The application process of Bihar NEET counselling 2021 can be divided into seven steps. Candidates can refer to these steps to understand the application process better:

Step 1: Registration

• To register for the counselling of Bihar NEET 2021, a candidate must go to the official website of BCECEB.
• They must then register using a valid email ID and mobile number
• An ‘Activation Code’ will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID
• Use this code to activate the account and proceed to fill the application form
• The email ID used for the registration will be the user ID for the account
• Candidate must note down the password for future use

Step 2: Personal Information

• In this section, the candidate must fill in details such as father’s name, mother’s name, contact details, etc.
• After completing every step, candidates are advised to save the application form as a draft.

Step 3: Uploading a photograph and signature

The candidate has to upload the scanned images of the following to proceed further:

• Passport-sized photograph (must have a placard with candidate’s name and the snapping date at the bottom)
• Candidate’s signature (full name, must not be in capital letters)

To fill this section, keep the mark sheets from Classes 10 to 12 ready. They need to provide details of the institute from which they have passed Classes 10 to 12, the marks/percentage obtained, etc.

Step 5: Preview the Application

It is important that the information provided by the candidate in the application form of UGMAC counselling 2021 is correct. Thus, candidates must check all the fields thoroughly before proceeding to the next step in the application process.

Step 6: Payment of Counselling Fee

To participate in the counselling process of Bihar NEET 2021, a candidate must pay the counselling fee. This fee is not refundable in any circumstance. Candidates can pay the counselling fee for Bihar NEET 2online or offline mode. Refer to the modes of payment given below for more details:

• Payment through a bank challan: Choosing this option will enable the candidate to deposit the counselling fee in any branch before the last date. The candidate needs to print the bank challan and deposit it along with the counselling fee. The payment status will be updated online within 24 hours.
• Online payment: If a candidate chooses this option, they can pay the counselling fee using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

Step 7: Download and print the application form

This is the last step of the application process. After completing the application form for Bihar NEET counselling 2021, the candidate must save and print the filled application for future use.

The next stage of Bihar NEET 2021 counselling is choice filling. Candidates who have registered for the counselling of Bihar NEET 2021 will have to log in to their registered accounts and choose the desired courses/colleges from the list provided. These can be edited or modified as per the candidate’s wish until the window closes. BCECEB will prepare the seat allotment list for Bihar NEET counselling 2021 based on these choices and the merit of the candidates.

BCECEB will release a mock seat allotment list before the choice filling closes. This will give the applicants an idea as to which college/course will be allocated to them based on the choices filled by them. After the choice filling window closes, BCECEB will release the final seat allotment list for Bihar NEET counselling 2021.

Slot booking is conducted for those who have been allocated a seat in the Bihar NEET 2021 counselling and wish to continue with it. Slot booking has to be done online.

Bihar NEET Counselling has started from January 16, 2022. BCECEB will start registrations for Bihar NEET counselling 2021 from January 16, 2022. The Bihar NEET counselling process will start right after the NEET result declaration and cut-off release. The NEET counselling process is usually carried forward according to the quota of seats. Bihar has 15 per cent reserved seats for candidates belonging to other Bihars and is known as the All India Quota (AIQ). Rest 85 per cent of the total seats are reserved for the candidates having Bihar domicile.

The registration process for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2021 began on January 16 for admission to first-year UG Medical Courses (MBBS / BDS) in Government / Private Medical / Dental Colleges in Bihar state, as well as Govt. Bihar Veterinary College in B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses, based on the UGMAC-2021 Merit-list / Rank-List prepared on the basis of the NEET (UG)-2021 merit (NTA). After the result announcement and the release of the cut-off list Medical and Dental colleges across Bihar has started the Bihar NEET counselling process. The Bihar NEET counselling is expected to be held in various rounds such as Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 or mop-up round (if any seats are left vacant). After the completion of Bihar NEET counselling round wise, various institutes also conduct their counselling at the college level in order to fill the remaining vacant seats (if any).

To participate in the State NEET counselling candidates have to register themselves first. Registration for Bihar NEET counselling will be done online and the form was available on the official website of BCECEB. The Bihar NEET counselling applications will only be considered and accepted after the payment of the registration fee. After the successful submission of the NEET counselling registration form, the conducting body will release the list of the registered candidates whose applications will be accepted.

The candidates whose names will be on the list then have to report to the document verification centres if needed otherwise the documents verification will be done online. After the document verification process, the candidates have to fill their choice of colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates will be then released for the first round of seat allotment.

After this, the subsequent counselling rounds will take place depending upon the cut off and availability of seats.
