Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2021: The Process

Jharkhand NEET counselling 2021 process is a month-long process and involves various stages. From registration to submission of application fee for counselling, several steps are followed. Below are the steps involved in the Jharkhand NEET counselling 2021:

Registration:
  • Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Jharkhand NEET 2021 need to register on the official website of the JCECEB
  • To register they need to enter a valid email ID and mobile number
  • After completing the registration process, candidates have to fill the application form of Jharkhand NEET counselling 2021
  • Lastly, they have to deposit the counselling fee for Jharkhand NEET
  • The application of the candidate who fails to deposit the counselling fee will be rejected

State Merit List:

Basis the performance of the registered candidates in NEET 2021, JCECEB will prepare a state merit list of all the candidates. A separate merit list will be prepared for the candidates belonging to different categories. The state merit list will be uploaded online by the JCECEB on its official website.

Choice filling:

Candidates will now get a chance to choose the course/college as per their wish. Each candidate must fill in as many choices as he/she can, in decreasing order of preference. Candidates are advised to fill in the choices carefully and must go through the fee structure of the college before applying for it.

Counselling venue:

JCECEB will then release a notification stating the cut off for the next round of counselling. Candidates who have scored above or equal to the cut off rank will be eligible to attend the counselling of Jharkhand NEET 2021. Such candidates will have to report to the venue given below on the specified date and time.

Salient Features of the Jharkhand NEET Counselling

After the result announcement and the release of the cut-off list, Medical and Dental colleges across the Jharkhand will start their Jharkhand NEET counselling process. The Jharkhand NEET counselling is expected to be held in various rounds such as Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 (if the seats are left vacant). After the completion of Jharkhand NEET counselling round wise, various institutes also conduct their counselling at the college level in order to fill the remaining vacant seats (if any).

To participate in the State NEET counselling candidates have to register themselves first. Registration for Jharkhand NEET counselling is done online and the form is available on the official website of JCECEB.

Jharkhand NEET counselling 2021 registration will be considered and accepted only after the successful payment of the registration fee. After the successful submission of the NEET counselling registration form, the conducting body will release the list of the registered candidates whose applications will be accepted.

The candidates whose names will be on the list then have to report to the document verification centres if needed otherwise the documents verification will be done online. After the document verification process, the candidates have to fill their choice of colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates will be then released for the first round of seat allotment.

After this, the subsequent counselling rounds will take place depending upon the cut off and availability of seats.
