Telangana NEET counselling 2021 registration has started on January 5, 2022. Candidates can register by January 11, 2022. The counselling of Telangana NEET 2021 is organised by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana. Registrations for Telangana NEET 2021 counselling process has begun and is a one-time process. Those who do not register for the counselling of Telangana NEET 2021 on the official website of KNRUHS will not be considered for the admission process.

Candidates must also note that admission to the 85 per cent state quota seats of Telangana will also be based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Therefore, all those who wish to apply for Telangana NEET 2021 counselling must ensure that they have qualified for the examination and have scored above the cutoff marks.

January 5, 2022: Telangana NEET Counselling 2022 registration has started.

Post the announcement of the NEET 2021 result, candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Telangana NEET 2021 will have to register themselves online on the official website of KNRUHS. The application form for Telangana NEET 2021 counselling can be filled on a computer only. They must not attempt filling the application form on a mobile or a tablet. Also, the form can be filled in on Internet Explorer 11 or above only. Candidates will have to provide the following details for registration:

• NEET 2021 roll number
• AIR obtained in NEET 2021
• Date of birth
• Mobile number

On validating the above details, the system will generate a unique registration ID for the candidate. This registration ID will be used to log in to the account in the future.

To complete the registration process, candidates will have to deposit a non-refundable registration/verification fee. This fee has to be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

Candidates must take out a print of the filled-in application form for Telangana NEET 2021 counselling. In the space provided on the application form, they must affix a recent passport-sized photograph. They must then report to the verification centre along with this hard copy of the application form and all their documents in original.

• Residence Certificate for a minimum period of 10 years (For candidates who have studied in institutions outside Telangana)

Only those candidates who were able to complete the verification process successfully will be eligible to participate in the counselling of Telangana NEET 2021. The provisional state merit list will be revised accordingly and a final list will be published.

Based on the choices filled by a candidate during web counselling and their position in the state merit list, KNRUHS will allocate the seats. Candidates who wish to confirm their admission will have to report to the allotted institute and pay the academic fee before the deadline. Seats left vacant after the first round will be carried forward to the next round. Candidates must also note that a separate seat allotment list will be released for every round.

Q: What is the validity of the NEET Score Card?

A: NEET Scorecard can be used for the current session counselling only in India but candidates who want to study abroad can use the same NEET scorecard for three years.

Q: Is there any limited number of attempts for NEET?

A: No. According to the regulatory body, there’s no cap on the number of attempts for NEET but there’s an age limit.

Q: By when can I expect the NEET counselling for Telangana?

A: NEET counselling for Telangana State has started on January 5, 2022, from 8:00 AM. Candidates can apply by January 11, 2022, till 5:00 PM.

Q: Do I have to fill any application form for NEET Telangana counselling?

A: Yes. You have to fill an application form for Telangana NEET counselling. The application fee for NEET Telangana Counselling is Rs 3,540 for General/OBC candidates and Rs 2,950 for SC/ST candidates. The application fee can be paid online using Debit/ Credit/ Net banking. 

Q: Can I fill the application form for NEET Telangana counselling offline? 

A: No, the application form will be available in online mode only. Applications sent by post or any other mode, will not be accepted.

Q: Where can I get my documents verified?

A: The document verification process is expected to be held via the online process this year keeping the existing COVID-19 situation in view.

Telangana NEET Counselling process has begun on January 5, 2022, with accepting applications for the same. The Telangana NEET counselling process will begin right after the cut off released on January 6, 2022. The NEET counselling process is usually carried forward according to the quota of seats. Telangana has 15 per cent reserved seats for candidates belonging to other States and is known as the All India Quota (AIQ). Rest 85 per cent of the total seats are reserved for the candidates having Telangana domicile.

Below is the tentative schedule for each event for Telangana NEET counselling, candidates can refer to:

After the result announcement and the release of the cut-off list, Medical and Dental colleges across Telangana will start their Telangana NEET counselling process. The Telangana NEET counselling will be held in various rounds such as Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 (if the seats are left vacant). After the completion of Telangana NEET counselling round wise, various institutes also conduct their counselling at the college level to fill the remaining vacant seats (if any).

To participate in the State NEET counselling candidates have to register themselves first. Registration for Telangana NEET counselling will be done online and the form will be available on the official website of KNRUHS. The Telangana NEET counselling applications are now available on the official website of KNRUHS and candidates can register themselves within 3 to 4 days in the subsequent week.

The candidates whose names will be on the list then have to report to the document verification centres if needed otherwise the documents verification will be done online. After the document verification process, the candidates have to fill their choice of colleges priority-wise. A provisional merit list of shortlisted candidates will be then released for the first round of seat allotment.

After this, the subsequent counselling rounds will take place depending upon the cut off and availability of seats.
