Seat allotment result for West Bengal NEET PG 2021 mop up round counselling has been released by West Bengal University of Health Services (WBUHS), Kolkata on April 26. The seat allotment list has been uploaded on the official website in PDF format. Candidates were provided the deadline from April 20 to April 22 for registration choice filling for West Bengal NEET PG 2021mop up round counselling. Those who have been allocatted seats need to report to respective institutes for document verification from April 26 to April 28.
Those candidates who secure a minimum qualifying percentile in NEET PG 2021 and fulfill other eligibility criteria, can participate in the NEET PG 2021 counselling round. The counselling of West Bengal PG medical admission 2021 will be conducted for admission to the 50% state quota seats of MD/MS/MDS and postgraduate diploma courses offered by the institutes in West Bengal. The counselling will be held in two rounds. A mop-up round would be organised only if any seats are left vacant after the second round of West Bengal NEET PG/MDS 2021 counselling.

Only those candidates who have either completed their undergraduate degree course (MBBS/BDS) from an institute located in West Bengal or those who are domiciled in the state of West Bengal can apply for the state quota seats.
West Bengal NEET PG counsellingCandidates who wish to participate in the West Bengal NEET PG/ NEET MDS counselling needed to register themselves on the official website of WBMCC. To register on the portal, candidates had to provide the following information:
On clicking ‘Submit’, the all India rank of the candidates in the respective examination (NEET PG/NEET MDS) will be displayed. This will verify that the details entered by the candidates are authentic. On proceeding further, candidates were required to enter the date on which they had completed their internship and the total number of correct responses in NEET PG/NEET MDS.
Only those candidates who have completed their internship on or before March 31, 2021, will be able to proceed further and apply for the West Bengal PG medical 2021 counselling.
Verification of documentsDue to the spread of COVID-19 in India, the physical verification of the documents has been postponed. Meanwhile, candidates had to email scanned copies of the documents listed below for determining their eligibility. These documents will be physically verified when the candidate joins the college allotted to them via the West Bengal NEET PG/NEET MDS counselling.

List of eligible candidatesOn the basis of the details provided by the candidates and the documents uploaded by them, the competent authority prepares a list of the candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling of West Bengal NEET PG/MDS 2021. Only those candidates who have been included in this list can submit their choices online for West Bengal NEET PG 2021 counselling.
Choice fillingEligible candidates must choose their desired courses/colleges in the order of preference by logging into their registered accounts. There is no limit to the number of choices that can be filled by a candidate. However, candidates must do thorough research of the college/course they intend to apply for. They must also double-check the fee structure of the colleges before choosing them.
Seat allotment listThe result of a particular round of West Bengal NEET PG 2020/NEET MDS 2021 counselling is displayed in the form a seat allotment list. Candidates can check whether or not they have been allocated a seat by logging into their registered accounts. Preparation of the seat allotment list is on the basis of the marks obtained in the respective entrance test and the choices filled by the candidates.
Confirmation of admissionThose who have been allocated a seat in the counselling of West Bengal NEET PG/NEET MDS and who wish to retain the seat must report to the respective institute for confirmation of their admission. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, candidates can also opt for online confirmation of their admission.
Online: To confirm their admission online candidates need to send an email to the respective institute. They must also upload the necessary documents with as an attachment with this confirmatory email. The academic fee will be communicated to the candidates which must be paid through the college website/bank account details provided by the official email ID if the institute.
In case of online confirmation, candidates must beware of fake websites/accounts. They must ensure that the person they are communicating with is a genuine representative of the institute. Candidates will receive their admission letter through email, original copies of which will be handed over when they join the institute.
Offline: For confirming the admissions offline candidates have to report to the allocated institute personally. They must submit their documents (original and 2 attested copies) for verification. They must also pay the academic fee post which they will receive the admission letter.
