ATMA 2022 will be conducted today, i.e. May 29, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. ATMA 2022 admit cards 2022 were released on May 26, 2022, along with self-declaration forms. What is ATMA Exam?

AIMS Test for Management Admissions or ATMA is a national-level exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA and PGDBA courses. More than 750 management institutes across India accept ATMA scores for admission to their management programmes. The test aims to assess the aptitude of candidates, which is necessary for higher management studies. ATMA question paper comprises six sections. The exam is conducted multiple times every year. Questions in the exam are asked from Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal Skills.

ATMA Exam 2022: Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates applying for the ATMA exam should be a citizen of India.
  • Any graduate with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent CGPA, from a recognised university, is eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can apply provisionally.
  • There is no age limit.

ATMA 2022 Admit Card

ATMA 2022 admit cards will be released on the official website for candidates to download before the exam day. Candidates who have registered successfully will be able to download the ATMA admit card once they have been released. Given below is the process to download ATMA admit card 2022 from the ATMA AIMS website:

  • Visit the official website of ATMA AIMS.
  • Login using PID number and password.
  • Click on the 'Print E-admit card' link.
  • Read the instructions, click on the check box and take a printout of the ATMA admit card 2022.
ATMA 2022: Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the ATMA exam must familiarise themselves with exam day guidelines to avoid any sort of difficulty on the day of the exam.

  • ATMA exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The candidates need to reach the exam venue by 1:00 PM to complete identification and other processes. Latecomers will not be permitted in the exam centre.
  • The candidates need to carry two printouts of the ATMA admit card with passport size photograph affixed to it and photo ID proof (original and photocopy) issued by the Government of India. They must also carry a printout of the ATMA application form. Candidates not carrying the above-mentioned documents will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Candidates should affix the photograph which matches the application form.
  • Candidates must have the ArogyaSetu app installed on their phones and the app must show the candidate's risk status. If in case the candidate does not Arogya Setu app, they have to bring the filled self-declaration form. Candidates need to switch off their phones after showing the risk status to the security guard at the centre.
  • Candidates must bring a ballpoint pen to the centre. Other gadgets such as digital watches, statistical tables, calculators, etc. are not permitted in the exam centre.
  • The candidate must wear a mask and gloves at all times. They must also carry a transparent water bottle, sanitiser and exam related documents. They must also obey COVID-19 appropriate behaviour at all times.

ATMA admission process includes the following four steps:

 

ATMA admission process 2022

Step 1: ATMA application form 2022

Candidates can register online on the official website of AIMS and fill out the ATMA 2022 application form. The application fee is INR 1,600 which is to be paid online through debit/credit card or net banking. While filling up the ATMA application form, candidates can select up to five institutes/colleges to send their scores for admission.

ATMA 2022 exam will be held in the computer-based test mode across 27 cities in India. Candidates need to select ATMA 2022 exam centres (usually the test cities) while filling out the application form. 

STEP 2: ATMA admit card 2022

ATMA admit cards will be released for the registered candidates three days before the exam. Candidates must download their admit cards and self-declaration forms and take a printout of the same before the exam, as these are mandatory documents. ATMA admit cards 2022 will be available online for downloading, till the exam day. 

STEP 3: ATMA mock test 2022

ATMA mock test 2022 will likely be conducted two days before the exam day, to familiarize the candidates with the test guidelines if the exam is conducted in the internet-based test mode. It was mandatory for the applicants to appear for the mock test which will be conducted between 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for 45 minutes. If the applicant does not appear for the mock test, he/she will not be permitted to appear for the actual exam. The mock test will be conducted to avoid any hassle during the exam day. 

STEP 4: ATMA exam 2022

ATMA exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The test will comprise 180 questions on Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative, and Verbal skills. Candidates get 180 minutes to solve the questions. 

STEP 5: ATMA result 2022

ATMA results will be declared online on the official website. The test takers can check ATMA 2022 result and download the scorecard by entering their PID number and password. The scorecards will not be sent to any candidate by post. On the basis of marks scored, candidates can apply to the institute/college of their choice and participate in the further admission process of the participating college.

ATMA results will be declared on June 3, 2022. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their scorecard online using their login credentials. Given below are the steps to know how to download the ATMA result 2022:

ATMA 2022 Registrations

ATMA 2022 registration is an online process. The ATMA application forms 2022 were available online on the official website of ATMA AIMS (https://www.atmaaims.org/). Students who wish to appear for the ATMA 2022 exam were required to fill out the online application form and complete the registration process by paying the application fee. The ATMA application process includes the following steps:

  • Creating a new user profile by filling out the ATMA registration form with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID and phone number, etc.
  • Paying the ATMA application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking, UPI or other banking wallets.
  • Filling out the complete ATMA application form using PID number and password.
  • Uploading the required documents in the prescribed format.
ATMA Fee Payment

The second step in the ATMA registration process is paying the application fee. Applicants need to pay the application fee to proceed to fill out the ATMA application form. The ATMA application fee can only be paid online. ATMA registration fee is INR 1600 (inclusive of GST) for all candidates. ATMA application fee can be paid only through debit/credit cards, internet banking or UPI. Applicants belonging to North-Eastern states are eligible to avail of a fee concession of 50%. Women candidates are also eligible to avail of the fee concession of 25%.

ATMA Exam Analysis 2022

ATMA exam analysis provides details regarding the overall and sectional difficulty, topic-wise distribution of questions, expected cutoff, etc. To get an idea of the difficulty level, candidates can have a look at the ATMA exam analysis below.

ATMA 2022 was overall moderately difficult. The Quantitative Skills section according to the ATMA exam analysis was the toughest among all the sections. Many questions were asked on the topics such as Geometry and Arithmetic. The difficulty level of questions in Verbal Skills was moderate. This section had questions from Reading Comprehension and Grammar. Although the passages were lengthy but easier to attempt. Part 1 of Analytical Reasoning Skills was moderate to difficult but questions in Part 2 of this section were more difficult than in the previous part.

ATMA exam analysis 2022 (February) - Overall Difficulty

There were three sections in the ATMA question paper and each section was divided into two parts - I and II. Each question had four options. A: ATMA is held four to five times a year. This year ATMA exam will be conducted in the CBT mode. Candidates can appear more than once and the score of the last exam attempted would be considered for admissions.

Q. What is the application fee for ATMA?

A: The application fee for ATMA is INR 1,600 including GST. There is a fee concession for candidates belonging to NE states and women candidates.

A: No, there is no age restriction for the candidates who apply for the ATMA exam, however, they must fulfil the other eligibility criteria before appearing for the ATMA exam. 

Q: Can I pay the ATMA registration fee by cash/DD or net banking?

A: ATMA registration fee can be paid only through debit/credit cards. There is no provision of paying the application fee offline.

Q. I am unable to upload my signatures in the registration form. What should I do?

A: There is a set limit to upload a photograph and digital signatures in the ATMA registration form. The size of the file should be between 20 KB to 50 KB. The size of the scanned image should not be more than 50 KB. The dimensions of the signatures should be 140 X 60 Pixels.

Q. How many test cities can I choose while filling out the ATMA application form?

Q: Candidates can choose up to two test cities according to their preferences. But in 2021, the candidates were not required to choose test cities as the exam was conducted in the online proctored mode.

Q. I belong to a reserved category. Do I have to fill out a different application form?

A: No, the ATMA application form is the same for all the candidates. They have to choose the category they belong to and provide the supporting documents at the time of admission. 

Q. Which documents are needed for uploading while filling the ATMA registration form?

A: Candidates need to upload their passport size photograph, digitally scanned signatures, caste certificate (if applicable), copies of Class 10, Class 12 and graduation mark sheets. Sponsored applicants are required to upload sponsoring certificates as per the format available on the ATMA website.

Q. Can I make corrections in the ATMA application form after submission?

A: No changes can be made once the ATMA application form has been submitted. Candidates must fill the application form carefully and check the details before submitting the form. 

Q. Is there any negative marking in ATMA?

A: Yes, 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer.

Q. Can I change my test centre after the admit card has been issued?

A: No, candidates cannot change their test centres once the admit card has been issued. The test centre can only be changed if the request has been made at least 10 days prior to the exam and is subject to the availability of seats and approval of test administrator.
