APICET - Andhra Pradesh - Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET)

APICET 2022 registration has started online from May 12, 2022. Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati releases the APICET notification and schedule along with the commencement of the registration process. Candidates will be able to register online till June 10 without late fee. Authorities will release the admit card soon after the registration process is over. APICET 2022 exam date has been announced along with the notification. The exam is will be conducted across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. This year 11 districts has been added for the APICET 2022 examination.  

Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) is a state-level MBA and MCA entrance examination conducted for admission to colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. APICET is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. APICET is conducted over a window of two days and two slots. According to APSCHE, as many as 64,884 (approx.) candidates appear for the exam. Around 40,000 (approx.) candidates qualify for the exam. The computer-based test (CBT) is conducted in 43 cities across Andhra Pradesh. The scores of APICET is accepted by over 290 colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

May 12, 2022: APICET 2022 registration begins; Exam on July 25 

APICET registration 2022 has commenced from May 12. The application form is available online. Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode only. Candidates must ensure to adhere to the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing to which the candidature will stand cancelled. Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses through APICET 2020 should fulfil the following criteria:

• Candidate should be an Indian National and should conform to the local/non-local status requirement as per government rule
• Candidates should have passed a three-year bachelor’s degree course in any stream with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate (SC, ST and BC with 45 per cent aggregate) from a recognised university
• Candidates in their final year of 3-year Bachelor's degree and awaiting results are also eligible to apply for APICET 2020 exam

Authorities prescribe the APICET syllabus section wise. Candidates can check the section-wise important topics. APICET syllabus will be divided across three sections viz.,  Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. APICET 2022 Preparation Tips

APICET is a speed-based test in which students need to solve 200 questions in 150 minutes. All the questions will be in MCQ format. To solve the questions, aim at acquiring in-depth subject knowledge over just covering the topics included in the syllabus. Prepare a study timetable and buy the best books for the APICET exam. Check other tips below:

1. Study well the topics included in the APICET syllabus
2. Do not randomly pick up topics. Ensure to complete one and then move on to the other topics included in the APICET syllabus
3. Create short notes to revise them regularly

1. Self analyse preparation level through practice of APICET sample papers

APICET 2022 mock test will be conducted soon after the registration process for APICET begins. Registered candidates will be able to access the APICET mock test. Mock test help candidates to get the actual exam environment and makes them familiar with the exam pattern. Candidates must ensure to take the mock test to access their preparation level.

Candidates who registered successfully for the exam were issued APICET admit card. Test takers could visit the official website and download the admit card. Candidates need to take out a print copy of the admit card and carry it to the exam centre.

Candidates appearing for APICET exam must download the previous year question papers. The question papers will help candidates to access the difficulty level of the exam. The questions papers can be used for practice and improve speed and accuracy.

APICET answer key will be able as soon as the exam is over. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to verify their response and can calculate their approximate score before the declaration of result. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer key within the prescribed time period. 

Authorities will announce the APICET 2022 result online. Registered candidates will be able to check their final score online tentatively in last week of September 2022. Candidates must enter the login credentials to download the score card. The scorecard will mention the candidate's personal details and section-wise & overall score and percentile.

Admission through APICET is based on ranks secured in the exam. The qualifying cut off for General candidates is 50 marks out of 200. For SC/ST candidates, there are no qualifying marks. Check the table below for the marks versus ranks comparison.
