Candidates seeking admission to BTech courses in Bihar engineering institutes have to apply through Bihar UGEAC 2022. The registration of Bihar UGEAC 2022 has been started. Eligible candidates will be selected for admission through JEE Main 2022 scores. The authority will prepare a merit list of all the applicants on the basis of the JEE results. The seat allotment result will be declared after choice filling and locking has been completed by candidates. The counselling is a centralized process conducted in three rounds. All the eligible candidates have to register online, fill out the application form, pay the required counselling fee and download the confirmation page. The application form of Bihar UGEAC counselling 2022 will be available online on the official website. Candidates must note that JEE Main 2022 application number and date of birth will be required to fill the application form. Candidates who could not fill out and submit the application form will not be allowed to appear in the counselling process.

The BCECEB will prepare a Bihar UGEAC counselling merit list in the last week of July. Bihar UGEAC merit list will be released on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Main exam. The merit list will be published on the official website in pdf format. Candidates whose name appears in the merit list have to fill their choices online and lock them within the given timelines.

All the eligible candidates have to fill their choice of college and courses for seat allotment process. The choices must be filled online in order of their preference. The authority will allocate the candidates on the basis of the availability of seat in the particular institute. Candidates have to lock their choice of course and college before the last date. Choices cannot be modified after final locking. The Bihar UGEAC 2022 counselling will be held on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates.

The authority will conduct Bihar UGEAC counselling in three rounds. The shortlisted candidates in the merit list will be called for counselling on the basis of JEE Main ranks. For each round of counselling, seat allotment results will be declared on the basis of the availability of seats in the institutes and preferences made by the candidates. All the eligible candidates have to verify their documents and download the seat allotment letter for admission to the institute.

The BCECEB has set up reporting centres across the state for the verification of documents. Candidates have to report for document verification after the declaration of seat allotment result. All the eligible students must carry all the required documents original mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter. It is mandatory for selected candidates to visit the reporting centres failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
