What is DUCET 2022?The Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET) is conducted by the Dravidian University in order to offer students admission in postgraduate and postgraduate diploma courses offered by the varsity. The Dravidian University (DU) offers students courses in Science, Humanities, Education, Language courses and Arts. DUCET is conducted in offline mode and the duration of the entrance test is of 100 minutes. Candidates will have to apply online and meet the eligibility criteria set by the Dravidian University. Through DUCET, candidates can opt for admission in regular and self-financing courses which are offered by the Dravidian University.

Before applying for DUCET 2022, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set by the Dravidian University. If a candidate is found ineligible at any time, he/she will not be allowed to further proceed in the DUCET admission process. The eligibility criteria is as mentioned below:

The Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET) admission process is as such which begins from the application process and concludes with the counselling session. The DUCET admission process is as such as mentioned below:
Step 1: Apply for DUCET 2022
The first step of any admission process is to apply for the course which is offered by the university. Candidates are required to fill and submit the DUCET 2022 application form which will be available online and offline. Candidates can either download the application form or can avail the application form which will be available at the university. Candidates need to fill and submit the DUCET application form during the application process. Applications will not be accepted after the last date. The candidate will have to fill the form by entering his personal, academic and residential details, upload the required documents and pay the DUCET application fee.
Step 2: Download Admit Card
Candidates who have successfully filled and submitted their DUCET application forms, can download the DUCET admit card which will be released a few days before the entrance test. The DUCET admit card is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam centre which will be mentioned on the admit card.
Step 3: Appear for DUCET 2022
Candidates are required to carry their admit cards (hall ticket) to the exam centre which will be mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are advised to go through the DUCET exam pattern and syllabus before appearing for the entrance exam. The candidate should reach the exam centre on time as latecomers will not be allowed to appear for the entrance test.
Step 4: DUCET 2022 Result
The DUCET result will be announced online on the official website of the university. Candidates will be judged on the basis of their rank and marks secured in the Dravidian University Common Entrance Test (DUCET). A merit list will be released which will contain the names of candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling session.
Step 5: Counselling
Candidates who have been shortlisted are invited for the counselling session to complete the admission process. Students are required to carry the original and photocopies of their documents to the counselling venue. Candidates can book their seat and can attend classes which will commence in the month of July, 2022.

Q. Does Dravidian University offer Master in Social Work (MSW)?
A. Yes. Through DUCET, candidates can apply for admission in Master of Social Work, which is offered by the Dravidian University.Q. Do I have to give an entrance exam to get admission in BA Political Science?
A. No. There is no entrance test for UG courses except for BEd, CET, TPT, LPCET, BPEd and PECET. Candidates can apply for admission.Q. Is there an entrance test for BEd?

Application Form: The application forms will be available in online mode and offline mode. Once released, candidates can apply by filling and submitting the application form along with the application fee. Applicants can select the course and the exam centre nearest to them while applying.

Admit Card: After successful registration of the exam, candidates will be able to avail the DUCET admit card via post/courier on the registered address. The admit card is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the DUCET 2022 exam.

DUCET 2022 Exam: The DUCET 2022 exam dates have not been released yet. Registered candidates will be required to reach the exam centre well on time and should carry their DUCET admit card and valid identity proof. Later comers will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
DUCET 2022 Results: The results declaration date of DUCET 2022 has not been announced yet. Candidates can check the DUCET results online on the official website of Dravidian University. Through the DUCET results, candidates will be judged on the basis of the rank and the marks secured in the entrance exam. A merit list will be released which will contain the names of candidates who have been shortlisted for admission.

Counselling: The counselling session for admission will commence once the DUCET results have been released. Candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to complete the admission process.
