DYPCET - DY Patil University CET

DYPCET 2022 application started on January 1, 2022. The entrance exam will be conducted for MBA and BBA courses. DYPCET application process is online and candidates will have to fill the form at the institute website. Read all about DYPCET 2022 below.

DY Patil University – School of Management conducts a common entrance test DYPCET for admission to its various MBA/PGDM and BBA programmes. DYPCET is a common aptitude test, conducted to assess the candidate's analytical skills, mathematical ability, logical reasoning and verbal communication – skills essential for pursuing BBA and MBA programmes. The DYPCET 2022 registration process is underway. Candidates can register on the institute website to take the exam. DYPCET is conducted in two shifts: morning (11:00 AM-12:00 PM) and afternoon (3:00 PM to 4:00 PM).

Eligibility criteria for DYPCET 2022 (MBA)

• The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent
• Candidates opting for MBA in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Health & Hospital and Pharmaceutical Industry must have completed graduation with 50 per cent aggregate from a recognized university or equivalent, but preference will be given to candidates from BSc, BTech, BPharm, MBBS, BHMS, BUMS, BAMS, BDS, B Nursing or equivalent
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. Their admission will remain provisional until submission of graduation passing certificate or marksheet
• For part-time MBA programme, the candidate must have a graduation degree and  two years of work experience
• For reserved category students, there is a provision of relaxation of 5 per cent marks in Graduation

DYPCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria (BBA)

• HSc Passed with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised board or university.
• For BBA in Hospital Administration programme preference will be given to candidates – HSC passed with Biology
• For reserved category students, there is a provision of relaxation of 5 per cent marks in HSc

DY Patil University – School of Management also offers part-time management (three years). For the part-time programme the candidate must have two years of work experience in a supervisory position. 

DYPCET 2022 includes five stages - applications, admit card, entrance exam, result declaration and group discussion and personal interview.

STEP 1: DYPCET 2022 application form

The application form for DYPCET 2022 for MBA can be obtained online as well as offline on payment of INR 2,000. The fee amount for BBA form is INR 500. The forms for 2022 batch admission will be available on the official website. Candidates must submit the forms before the due date to be able to appear in the entrance test. 

STEP 2: DYPCET 2022 admit card

On successful submission of the application form, each candidate will get DYPCET admit card. This admit card will be made available for download from the official website on a scheduled date. The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall.

STEP 3: DYPCET 2022

DYPCET 2022 exam will be conducted in remote proctored method and the question paper will have multiple choice questions from Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and English Language.

STEP 4: DYPCET 2022 result

DYPCET 2022 result will be declared online on the official website. The test takers can check their scores and download their scorecards from the official website by using their login IDs or application number.

STEP 5: DYPCET 2022 GD/PI

After the declaration of results, a merit list will be prepared for GD/PI round. Candidates selected for this round will have to be present in person. Candidates successful in this round will be offered admission.
