GSAT - GITAM Science Admission Test

GSAT is conducted by the GITAM Institute of Science is a part of GITAM University and it offers many undergraduates as well as postgraduate programmes to aspirants. GSAT is a national level entrance exam which is conducted once a year. Candidates interested in applying for the entrance exam have to register and submit an application form in order to appear for the entrance exam. GSAT is conducted in offline mode and the duration of the entrance exam is 1 hour. The medium of the paper is English.

Candidates need to meet eligibility criteria in order to appear for the GSAT 2021 exam. The candidates need to have secured a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate in their respective qualifying examinations. The eligibility criteria is as follows:

Step 1: Register

The candidate will firstly have to register on the official website of GITAM in order to apply for GSAT 2021. The candidate will have to fill in the required details as mentioned below:

Step 2: Fill Application Form

On successfully registering, the candidate will receive a login ID and password on the registered email ID. The candidate can then log in and apply for GSAT. The aspirant has to fill in the required details and upload a passport size photograph as well. Once the details are filled, the candidate will have to pay the GSAT application fee which is to be paid online.

Step 3: GSAT Admit Card

Hall tickets for GSAT exam will be sent to aspirants by post one week prior to commencement of the exam. Aspirants can also download their GITAM Science Admission Test admit card from the official website of the university. Candidates need to ensure that they preserve and keep their hall ticket because it would be needed at the time of admission.

Step 4: Give GSAT exam

Candidates have to appear for the GSAT 2021 exam which will be conducted in offline mode. Aspirants are advised to check exam pattern, marking scheme and syllabus before appearing for the entrance exam. Candidates need to carry their admit card as, without the GSAT hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

Step 5: GSAT Result

Candidates can check the GSAT on the official website of the university once released. Aspirants who have appeared for the GSAT exam will have to login details to check the results. GSAT rank is allotted to aspirants basis marks scored by them in the exam. A merit list will be released by the university after the result has been declared.

Step 6: Counselling

Candidates who have passed GSAT will be invited to appear for the counselling round on the basis of the merit list released by the institute. For each course, a separate merit list will be prepared. Candidates will have to pay a counselling fee and will have to carry the required documents as well.

The GSAT 2021 application forms will be released soon on the official website of GITAM. After the release of the application form, candidates will be required to fill and submit the application form along with the application fee. The admit card will be available on the official website. Dates for the admission test is yet to be announced. Dates for the release of admit card, exam date and declaration of results is yet to be released by the Gitam Institute of Science.

Application Form: The application forms for GSAT 2021 will be available online and offline. For online mode, candidates will have to register on the official website of GITAM. For offline, the dates and centres for spot registration is yet to be released by the institute. Candidates are advised to apply and submit the GSAT form before the last date of submission, which is yet to announced.

Admit Card: Candidates will be able to avail the GSAT admit card once released on the official website of the institute. The candidate will have to log in in order to avail the admit card.

GSAT Exam: Dates for GSAT are yet to be announced by the institute. Candidates are advised to check the rules and instructions as mentioned on the GSAT admit card and follow the guidelines. GSAT 2021 Result: The results will be announced on the official website of GITAM. Candidates will have to log in in order to check the scorecard. Candidates who have qualified will be invited for counselling after the merit list has been released by the institute.

Counselling: Candidates who have cleared GSAT, will be invited for admission in the institute. The counselling dates for UG and PG programmes is yet to be released by the university. Candidates will have to bring in the required documents at the time of counselling.
