GUJCET - Gujarat Common Entrance Test

GUJCET 2022 result has been declared on gseb.org. Candidates can check/download their score card using the direct link given below. Registration for GUJCET counselling 2022 will start soon. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will release the GUJCET merit list after counselling registration which will be the basis of seat allotment in colleges. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks in GUJCET and class 12.  

The facility to obtain GUJCET 2022 OMR copy is closed. Candidates who wish to get a copy of their OMR sheet had to register on the GSEB website gsebservice.com between May 17 to 23 to receive their OMR copy in their registered email ID. Candidates also had to pay a fee to get the OMR copy.

GUJCET 2022 exam was conducted on April 18. The exam was held in all districts of Gujarat in two shifts from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in offline mode as a Pen-Paper based test. As per the official announcement from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, two new changes have been brought in GUJCET 2022. They are as follows:

• Marks in subjects other than Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12 will also be considered for preparing the GUJCET 2022 merit list.
• Out of the total seats in government colleges, 5 per cent of seats will be filled through JEE Main 2022 score while the remaining 95 per cent of seats will be filled through GUJCET 2022 

Gujarat Common Entrance Test, also known as GUJCET is the exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses in the state. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conduct the GUJCET exam every year.  Admission to UG Engineering programs in the state government and private/self-financed institutes of Gujarat is given through GUJCET.

The GSEB has announced the GUJCET date 2022. Candidates can check here the schedule of events like the GUJCET 2022 exam date, application process schedule, admit card, exam, answer key, result and counselling.

The GSEB released the provisional GUJCET answer key 2022 on April 28. GUJCET provisional answer key was open for the challenge up to April 30. Candidates not satisfied with the provisional GUJCET answer key 2022 could challenge the same online by sending the challenge form to gujcetkey2022@gmail.com. The GSEB will review the challenges post which the GUJCET final answer key will be released. Using the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their marks as well as rank. The unofficial answer key has also been released by coaching institutes.

The GSEB has announced the GUJCET result 2022 on May 12 after 10 AM. GUJCET result is available online on the official website result.gseb.org. Candidates have to use their login details i.e. seat number to access their GUJCET 2022 result as well as OMR copy. Details of candidates' scores in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology will be mentioned in the GUJCET scorecard. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be eligible for admission to the participating institutes.

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses will conduct the GUJCET counselling 2022 tentatively in June. GUJCET counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The counselling consists of several stages such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc. The allotment of seats will be based on marks secured by the candidates in the GUJCET 2022 exam.

The facility of application form correction has been started on April 14. All registered candidates who wish to make any changes in their application form need to fill the correction form available in the information bulletin and also on the GSEB website. The GSEB released the GUJCET 2022 admit card on April 8. Admit cards are available for download online on the GUJCET website. Candidates have to download their admit cards by login into the website using their application number and password. Without GUJCET 2022 admit card, no candidate can ingress inside the examination hall. After the exam, candidates must preserve the admit card until the admission process completes successfully.

The GSEB has released the GUJCET syllabus 2022. GUJCET syllabus encompasses all the topics of classes 11 and 12 from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics that are covered in the examination. Candidates should make their preparation strategy keeping the GUJCET 2022 syllabus in their mind. To qualify the examination, candidates should complete the entire syllabus and solve the previous year's papers. The syllabus incorporates most of the chapters of Class 11 and Class 12.

The GSEB will release the GUJCET exam pattern along with the information brochure. Understanding of GUJCET exam pattern 2022 will impart information about the total number of questions, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The GUJCET question paper shall comprise of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 40 questions. For each correct answer, 01 mark will be awarded whereas for each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

The application process of GUJCET 2022 includes registration, filling the form, uploading scanned images, and payment of application fees.
