IHM CET - International Hotel Management Common Entrance Test

IHM CET 2022: The details of IHM CET 2022 are yet to be released.

The International Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (IHM CET) is conducted by the Council of Education and Development Programmes (CEDP Skill Institute) to provide admission to candidates in the IHM programme offered by it. IHM is a full-time three year duration programme which offers classroom training in the first year followed by two years of on-job-training in either UAE or Hong Kong. The program is 100% placement oriented and offers guaranteed job in the Hospitality industry at global level.

Given below are important IHM CET 2022 dates for the exam scheduled to be held in March:

Candidates who meet the below-mentioned parameters will fulfill IHM CET 2022 eligibility criteria:

• Candidates should be minimum 18 and maximum 27 years in age at the time of filling IHM CET 2022 application form

• Candidates should clear Class 12th with English as one of the subjects studied from a recognised board
• Candidates appearing for Class 12th exams or awaiting results in 2022 are also eligible to apply

Given below is the list of qualifying exams that IHM CET candidates can clear in order to be eligible for the exam:

• Plus two level examination in 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognised central/ state board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised board/ university
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
• High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University
• Any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education
• HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School. Candidates should clear the exam with minimum of five subjects including English as one of the subjects. Results for the exam must have released till September 30, 2018.

Note: It is mandatory for all IHM CET qualified candidates to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner at the time of admission.   

HM CET selection process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Fill IHM CET Application Form

Firstly, candidates need to fill IHM CET 2022 application form in online or offline mode. Application fee for IHM CET 2022 exam is as mentioned in the table below:

Step 2: Get IHM CET Admit Card

Once application process for the exam is complete, candidates receive their IHM CET admit card on their registered email ID. IHM CET 2022 admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre.

Step 3: Appear for IHM CET

Next, candidates need to appear for IHM CET 2022 exam as per the prescribed date and time. IHM CET paper contains a total of 200 questions of 200 marks. Candidates need to complete the exam in a duration of three hours.

Step 4: Check IHM CET Result

IHM CET merit list is prepared by authorities on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the written entrance exam. All candidates who clear the written test then need to appear for the final round of admissions – personal interview.

Step 5: Appear for Personal interview Round

All qualifying candidates need to appear for personal interview round as per the date and time prescribed by the institute. Candidates who clear the personal interview round are then offered admission in IHM programme of CEDP Skill Institute.  

IHM CET 2022 is scheduled to be conducted at CEDP Skill Institute in Thane, Maharashtra. 

Note: The official website of CEDP Skill Institute informs that it is important for a candidate to report at the exam venue at least one hour before the commencement of the paper.

Q: How many times will IHM CET be conducted in 2022?

A: IHM CET will be conducted twice in 2022 in the months of March and April.

A: IHM CET 2022 will be conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test.
