Highlights of JKCET Dates 2022
JKCET 2022 exam date has been postponed by the authorities of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). The revised JKCET exam date 2022 will be notified online soon. Previously, the JKCET 2022 exam date was May 22. JKCET 2022 will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test and the questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. On the basis of the candidate's performance in the entrance examination, allotment of seats will be done through JKCET 2022 counselling process. What is JKCET?JKCET stands for Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). Candidates striving for admission to BE/BTech programme in the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir can register for JKCET. After qualifying for JKCET, candidates will become eligible for admission to various courses under BE/BTech like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering.

JKCET 2022 Application Form
Candidates were able to fill out the JKCET application form 2022 online. Only eligible candidates were able to fill out the JKCET application form and the non-eligible candidates were liable for rejection. JKCET application process consisted of registration, filling out the form, uploading documents and payment of the fee. Incomplete and invalid applications were rejected. Before filling out the form, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria.
JKCET 2022 Eligibility CriteriaMeeting the eligibility criteria to apply for JKCET 2022 is very essential as the applications of non-eligible candidates will not be accepted. Candidates can read the JKCET eligibility criteria below:
- Candidates should be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of the Jammu & Kashmir State.
- They must have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or any equivalent examination from a recognized Institute with at least 50% (40% for reserved category).
- Candidates should have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2022.
- Candidates who are going to appear in the Class 12 examination in 2022 can also apply for the JKCET.
Note: There is no upper age bar for appearing in the JKCET 2022 for admission to Engineering Courses, both in Government and Private Colleges.
