JEE AME or Joint Entrance Exam for Aeronautical Engineering or Aircraft Management Engineering is a national level Scholarship cum admission exam for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at the institutes approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
JEE AME is a multiple-choice objective-type test that is conducted in paper-pencil based or offline mode in English and Hindi mediums. The candidates can attempt the JEE AME exam thrice. The exam authorities have announced that there would be no application fee to be paid by the aspirants in order to apply for JEE AME.
The candidates should pass or have appeared in the Class 12 Board exam in the Science stream (PCM). Candidates pursuing or completed a three-year Diploma in Engineering. The JEE AME 2021 exam pattern varies for the candidates who have passed Class 12 Board exam and those who have done Diploma in Engineering. However, the overall exam structure of JEE AME structure is the same for both the candidate categories.
JEE Main is conducted in offline mode, for a duration of two-hours in both English and Hindi languages. Apart from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, the exam also tests candidates’ knowledge on English and General Knowledge.
Marking Scheme: Each question carries four marks, which will be awarded to the test takers for every correct answer. For each wrong answer, there is negative marking scheme of one mark. No marks will be awarded or deducted for wrong answers. The total marks in the exam is 360.
