JEMAT 2022 is being conducted for MBA admissions in West Bengal. The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT, WB) will be conducting the JEMAT 2022 exam in two phases in July and September tentatively. MAKAUT conducts JEMAT every year to evaluate the knowledge of the test takers across three sections, namely, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and English. As per the exam pattern of JEMAT, the exam shall comprise a total of 100 MCQs that are to be answered within a duration of one hour. The admission process based on JEMAT 2022 includes completing the registration, downloading admit card, appearing for the JEMAT exam, and participating in the GD-PI rounds. Performance as per JEMAT score and GD-PI scores will be compiled further to prepare a merit list. Changes in JEMAT 2022

With the upcoming session of JEMAT 2022. MAKAUT has made major changes in the exam pattern owing to the COVID-19 pandemic along with the seats offered for admission.

  • MAKAUT will now conduct the JEMAT exam in a remotely proctored mode ditching the offline examination mode
  • Seat intake based on JEMAT scores has been increased from 2940 in the previous session to 2974 for JEMAT 2022
  • The duration of the exam has been reduced from two hours to one hour
  • Number of questions from 100 in the offline exam has been reduced to 50 in the online proctored exam
Eligibility Criteria for JEMAT 2022

JEMAT Admission Process 2022

The complete admission process of the JEMAT exam is as under:

STEP 1: JEMAT application process

JEMAT applications will be available on the official JEMAT website from the day of the beginning of the registration process. Aspiring candidates can log on to the website and fill the application form directly.

STEP 2: JEMAT admit card

JEMAT admit card will be made available for download from the scheduled date till the exam day. Registered candidates can download their admit cards by using their application number and password.

STEP 3: JEMAT 2022

JEMAT will be conducted in a computer-based test mode from home. The JEMAT question paper will consist of 100 MCQs to be answered in one hour. The questions will be asked from English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.

Step 4: JEMAT 2022 results

JEMAT 2022 results will be announced on the official website of JEMAT. The test takers can download their scorecards by using their login credentials. Selected candidates will be called for GD/PI, followed by counselling.

JEMAT Exam Centres

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the JEMAT 2022 exam might be conducted in a remotely proctored mode from home. Candidates can take the test from their android phone or a Laptop. The device selection is subject to technical requirements to be intimated by MAKAUT, WB. Thus, there are no exam centres for the JEMAT exam 2022. Candidates can take the test safely from the comfort of their homes. However, the exam details are yet to be released, MAKAUT can conduct the exam in an offline mode as well.
