The University of Allahabad (AU) is accepting the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 for admissions to BA LLB and other undergraduate courses. The online application process of CUET 2022 for Allahabad University is now open at - cuet.samarth.ac.in. The last date of application for AU BA LLB through CUET 2022 is May 31 as reopened. Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB course have to fill CUET 2022 application form with Legal Studies/Law as one of the subject paper. The exam date of CUET 2022 is yet to be announced on the official website.

What is LFAT?The Law Faculty Admission Test (LFAT) is conducted by University of Allahabad for admissions to five-years Integrated LLB (Hons) course which is offered at the Faculty of Law, and its constituent colleges. The exam is conducted at the national level by the University of Allahabad in a pen-paper based test mode.
LFAT Eligibility Criteria 2022The admission process will be based on CUET 2022 scores, but the candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria as under for admissions to BA LLB course as mentioned below:
- They should have passed Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination from any state or national board of education
- They should have passed the qualifying examination with at least 45% marks if belonging to General category, 42% marks if belonging to OBC category and 40% marks if belonging to SC/ ST category

Candidates seeking admissions to AU BA LLB can understand the admission process as mentioned below:
Step 1: Application Process - Candidates seeking admisisons to BA LLB course at Allahabad University have to fill the application form at cuet.samarth.ac.in. They need to select Allahabad University and BA LLB course under 'University and Progams section'. Moreover, they need to choose Legal Studies as on the subject in CUET 2022 test paper.
Step 2: Admit Card for Entrance Exam - Candidates will be issued admit card for CUET 2022 to appear for AU BA LLB course admission test. The admit card will mention details about the entrance exam date, subjects and test centre location. Candidates need to download the admit card to appear for CUET 2022 on the exam day.
Step 3: Appear for Entrance Exam - Candidates have to appear for CUET 2022 as per the schedule at the allotted test centre.
Step 4: Admission Process by Counselling - Once the entrance exam results are declared, the university will prepare merit list and waiting list for the counselling process. All the candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be required to appear for the counselling process as per the schedule. They will need to confirm their seat allotment and pay the admission fee as instructed by the admission committee.

Candidates should be careful of a few things on the exam day as under:
- Report to the allotted exam centre at least an hour before the exam timings.
- Carry the admit card as issued for CUET 2022 along with one valid photo ID proof - Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN card etc.
- Carry two pens (black or blue colour) and an HB pencil to mark answers on the OMR sheet.
- Avoid taking mobile phones or any other electronic items to the examination centre.
- Follow the instructions of the exam centre officials on the exam day.

A: The exam is conducted for as many as 120 seats of five-year integrated LLB course of which 6 seats are reserved for wards of teachers/ staff/ employees of Allahabad University.Q: Do I have to take the LFAT exam for admission to LLB course?
A: No, LFAT exam is conducted for five-year integrated LLB course only. For admissions to the three-year LLB course, candidates need to apply and appear in LAT exam by Allahabad University.Q: Is there a negative marking scheme in LFAT exam?
