MGU CAT 2022 application process ended on May 7. The application deadline to apply was extended from April 25 to May 7. Admit card for the exam will be be released on May 17 at the exam website. MG University will conduct the entrance test on May 27 and 29. MGU CAT 2022 result will be announced on June 21 and the GD/Interview round will be conducted in July-August.
What is MGU CAT?Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test or MGU CAT is conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam for admissions to various Postgraduate programmes offered by the University such as MSc, MA, Master of Tourism and Travel Management, LLM and M.Ed. For admission to MTech programme, candidates with GATE score can apply directly. For admission to the MBA programmes offered by MGU, candidates are selected on the basis of CMAT/CAT/KMAT score. Such candidates have to participate in MGU CAT counselling process only.

Step 1: MGU CAT 2022 Application Process
To appear for MGU CAT 2022 candidates are required to fill the application form and submit the same before the deadline. Fee can be paid via Debit Card or Internet Banking or at the nearest Akshaya Centre.

Step 2: Download MGU CAT 2022 Admit Card
Admit cards will be allotted to registered candidates only. The hall ticket will be available online and candidates can download the same from the official website of Mahatma Gandhi University.

Step 3: Appear for MGU CAT 2022
The exam mode is computer-based and the duration of MGU CAT 2022 will be 90 minutes. The candidates have to answer multiple-choice questions. The marking scheme is different for each subject. The exam will be held at test centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Kozhikode, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.

Step 4: MGU CAT 2022 Result
MGU CAT 2022 result will be announced on the official website of the University. The candidates can check their result by logging in to the official website and download the scorecard using their login ID. The ranklist will be released post the declaration of MGU CAT result.

MGU CAT 2022 Counselling
After the declaration of result, counselling process is conducted to select candidates for admission. For MBA course, the counselling process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) while the counselling process of rest of the courses includes Descriptive Test and PI.
