Summary:

MCC released the NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 amended seat allotment results around 6 p.m. on February 2nd. In the original result, 20,064 candidates were picked, however, in the updated seat allocation result, 20,001 candidates have been selected.

The MCC had started accepting the NEET UG Counselling 2021 registration on its official website. candidates have to visit the official website https://mcc.nic.in/ to register themselves for the second round.

Candidates can register for the NEET-UG Counselling 2021 Round 2 as of February 16, at the official website mcc.nic.in. In accordance with the MCC NEET Counseling timetable, candidates can fill out and lock their selections for NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 2 between February 17 and February 21, and the results will be announced on February 26.

The Medical Counseling Committee's official website published the Round 1 tentative seat allocation results for NEET 2021 counselling on February 1. NEET counselling registration credentials are required to see the results and get the seat allotment order. You must notify MCC through email at mccresultquery@gmail.com of any inconsistency with the results.

Final seat allocation results are scheduled to be announced before the end of the day on February 1. Between the dates of February 2 and February 7, candidates who are happy with their seat assignments must report to the institutes. Candidates must report to the institutes between February 2 and February 7. After 8 p.m. on January 28, the Round 1 registration procedure was reopened. The deadline for registering, filling out, and locking in your choices was January 30. "The Round-1 of UG Counselling was placed on hold due to the hearing held on 27.01.2022 in the matter of Gidla Bala Surya Chandra & Ors. Vs. UoI & Ors. before the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras," MCC noted. The timetable for Round 1 of UG Counselling 2021 has been adjusted in accordance with the order." According to the court judgement, MCC has published a list of 58 individuals who are qualified to compete for JIPMER domicile seats.

The Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Mansukh Mandaviya, announced the dates for the NEET UG 2021 counselling on January 13, 2022. NEET UG counselling 2021 registration has been started by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) on January 19. Medical students can apply online at mcc.nic.in.

NEET's OBC reservation has been affirmed by the Supreme Court of India during a hearing conducted on January 7. This year, instead of three rounds of AIQ counselling, there will be four sessions. The conducting body of NEET UG 2021 counselling is scheduled to be the start from January 19. According to the MCC and DGHS announcements made this year, the number of rounds and processes would be reduced significantly.

On behalf of the Directorate General of Health Sciences, MCC provides NEET counselling (DGHS). The AIQ category will enable 15% of total seats in each participating medical college, while the remaining 85% of seats will be reserved for applicants from the various states. About MCC NEET Counselling

MCC NEET Counselling is a process by which the final allotment of seats into MBBS, BDS and other medical courses across India. MCC stands for Medical Counselling Committee and it was formed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The committee was constituted to facilitate fair admissions to undergraduate/postgraduate medical courses, undergraduate/ postgraduate dental courses and super-speciality medical courses.

MCC Counselling for Undergraduate Courses

MCC takes care of the counselling for MBBS and BDS undergraduate courses as well. The counselling process is conducted on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the NEET exam. Subsequently, a cutoff list is also released, which decides the minimum eligible marks required for admission in different MBBS and BDS colleges.

The admission to MBBS and BDS colleges for the seats reserved under All India Quota (AIQ)/institutional quota/domicile (internal candidates) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/Banaras Hindu University/University of Delhi/Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, is done through the MCC counselling. From this year, admission to AIIMS, JIPMER and PGIMER is also done through the MCC NEET counselling.

NEET Counselling Process

MCC will offer NEET-UG 2021 counselling at mcc.nic.in. For AIQ seats, there will be two rounds of NEET counselling. For deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER, a mop-up round for NEET 2021 counselling will be placed. The following is a step-by-step procedure:

Step 1: Complete the MCC NEET registration process, including payment.

Step 2: Filling up and locking your choices for NEET 2021 counselling

Step 3: Seating for round 1 and the announcement of the results

Step 4: Reporting to the designated Medical/Dental College (option for free entry/exit)

Step 5: Round 2 net empty spots are published.

Step 6: NEET counselling round 2 registration (not necessary for previously registered applicants) and new choice filling

Step 7: Round 2 of seat allocation (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available)

Step 8: Reporting to medical/dental colleges/institutions in preparation for round 2 (candidates once joined the allotted seat are not allowed to vacate the seat).

MCC NEET UG Counselling Current Update

MCC has announced the NEET 2021 counselling dates and guidelines for Undergraduate level courses such as MBBS and BDS. On February 1, the MCC has released the Round 1 seat allotment result as well. The MCC NEET UG counselling is usually conducted after the NEET result announcement. MCC NEET counselling is conducted on the basis of cutoff released by the MCC and the marks secured by the candidates in the NEET exam. 

MCC NEET PG Counselling

MCC or the Medical Counselling Committee is also responsible for conducting the counselling for admissions to Postgraduate (PG) courses such as MD, MS, MDS and PG diploma courses. January 19, 2022: MCC NEET UG counselling 2021 registration for the first round has started.

The Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Mansukh Mandaviya, announced the dates for the NEET-UG Counselling 2021 on January 13, 2022. Registration for the NEET UG counselling has been opened by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) on January 19. Medical students can now apply online at mcc.nic.in.

NTA has announced the NEET Result 2021 on November 1, 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has delivered the NEET 2021 results/scorecards to the applicants' registered email addresses earlier on the same day. As indicated in the email, the NTA stated, "The NEET (UG) result distribution has started now, candidates will receive their result/scorecard on the registered email id." The final NEET 2021 answer keys were released along with the result.  

A total of 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc&AH, 1,899 AIIMS, and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats were available for admission in the NEET 2021 exam on September 12. On November 1, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the NEET 2021 examination at neet.nta.nic.in. MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) will conduct two rounds of AIQ online counselling, referred to as Round 1 and Round 2, in the coming months. All applicants who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in the NEET UG result 2021, with the exception of those from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, shall be eligible for consideration. The rank letter/NEET 2021 result may be obtained through the National Testing Agency's website, ntaresults.nic.in (National Testing Agency).
