NPAT 2022 is being conducted from April 1 to June 26 (as per the extended window). The exam is being conducted as a computer-based test from test centres. SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University is conducting the exam in 23 states with 66 exam cities across the country. Candidates can complete the registration until June 20. Earlier, the registration window was to be facilitated until June 5. Candidates who have submitted the application form of NPAT 2022 can proceed to schedule the exam. The last date to schedule the exam is set as June 23. Candidates can take NPAT in three attempts, that is two extra attempts after the main exam. However, there must be a gap of 20 days between two attempts of NPAT. NMIMS will consider the best of three scores for the admission process. The latest changes in the exam have been rolled out with NPAT 2022 registration fee hike to INR 2,000, last year the registration fee was set as INR 1,800. Additionally, last year the exam was conducted in a remote proctored mode, this year the exam is being conducted from the test centre.

Candidates can register for NPAT 2022 online by visiting the official website. No other mode of application submission is made available. Candidates aspiring for BBA admission through NPAT 2022 must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the NPAT exam. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility conditions will face rejection from the examination process. Space below mentions the eligibility criteria for NPAT 2022 prescribed by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

• Candidates applying for the NPAT exam must have completed Class 12 or equivalent examination (inclusive of International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream)
• Candidates can submit an IB diploma only if it is awarded by a recognised board. IB certificate holders are not eligible for the test.
• Candidates passing the 10+2 or equivalent examination from open or distance learning (ODL) are also eligible to apply for the exam. In this case, the school should be recognised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
• Candidates who have not been able to clear 10+2 either from CBSE or ICSE board or IB diploma in their first attempt are not eligible for the NPAT exam
• Candidates must have obtained an aggregate of 60% in 10+2 or equivalent examination
• Candidates holding IB Diploma will be eligible only if he/she has Mathematics/ Statistics at the standard level
• Candidates having cleared either CBSE/ ICSE board exam need to mention the aggregate marks of all the subjects of Class 10 or equivalent examination. The marks of best of four or five subjects will not be considered.
• Candidates exceeding the age of 25 years are not eligible to apply for the exam

Besides the syllabus, knowing the NPAT exam pattern becomes pivotal during the exam prep phase. The table below mentions the NPAT 2022 test structure:

Every year more than 80,000 candidates appear for the NMIMS NPAT exam. These candidates compete for 3,000+ seats; this brings out the admission rate of less than four per cent. Preparing well for the exam becomes crucial to compete alongside 80,0000+ test takers. Here are some of the NPAT preparation tips to help ace candidates ace the exam:

• Before starting the actual preparation, candidates must get aware of the exam pattern and syllabus.
• Cover topics from one section at a time.
• Proficiency in the English Language is considered the easiest among all three sections, experts recommend to cover this section in the last.
• Jot down the formulas for the Quantitative and Numerical Ability section and read the same daily, irrespective of the topics to be covered on a particular day.
• Solve SAT question papers for the relevant sections, as the difficulty standards and type of questions are on similar lines. 
• Practise NPAT mock tests from at least 10 different sources to get a fair understanding of the type of questions.
• Work on the speed, as each question must be solved in less than 50 seconds to complete all questions on time.

SVKMs NMIMS releases the NPAT admit card immediately after the applicant schedules the exam. Candidates can download the admit card as soon as it is generated after the NPAT slot booking. Alternatively, one can visit the official website (nmimsnpat.in) anytime before the exam date to download the NPAT 2022 admit card. Candidates can view the exam date, exam city and complete address of the test centre on the admit card. Candidates appearing for the exam need to carry a hard copy of the NPAT admit card at the exam centre. On failing to carry the admit card, candidates will face denial in entry to the NPAT exam centre. On-duty staff at the exam centre verifies the details along with the photograph on the admit card with the candidate. In addition to the admit card, candidates need to carry an original as well as a photocopy of government-approved ID proof on the exam day.

SVKM's NMIMS will release the NPAT 2022 results over the official website of the institute (nmims.edu/result). Candidates have to log in to check the NMIMS NPAT results. The result is released in the form of a merit list. Candidates can access the merit list of the NPAT exam using the registration ID and date of birth.

Candidates who qualify the NPAT exam get their names included in the NPAT merit list. The merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the marks obtained by them in NMIMS-NPAT 2022. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit and preferences given by candidates for programs and campus.

Counselling of NPAT based admissions is an online process that starts with the release of the merit list. Candidates who are selected as per the NPAT merit list will get an offer letter from the participating institute. Based on the NPAT admission offer, candidates need to fill out the admission form along with the relevant documents. On verification of the documents, NMIMS will release a fee deposit notice for the selected candidates along with the RTGS/NEFT details. Candidates interested in NMIMS admission must pay the fee before the stipulated date.

NPAT 2022 important dates have been revised. NMIMS has released the revised schedule along with the updated admission handout. SVKM's NMIMS Deemed to be University started the NPAT 2022 registration on December 23. Candidates interested in admission based on the exam can apply until June 20 as per the revised schedule. Candidates who have paid the registration fee can schedule the NPAT 2022 exam from February 1 to June 23. NPAT exam dates 2022 have been set from April 1 to June 26. Earlier, candidates were able to schedule a date for the exam between April 1 and June 10. This year, candidates can appear for NPAT as per their convenience within the testing window. SVKM's NMIMS has commenced the NPAT 2022 registration window on December 23, 2021. Candidates can submit the NPAT application form before June 20. Earlier, the registration deadline was set as June 5. The application process is available online at the official website. No other mode is available for application submission. Brief steps to fill and submit the application form of NPAT exam include completing one-time registration, filling in personal, academic and correspondence details, choosing course and college preferences, followed by uploading documents and paying of application fee.

After the candidates complete the registration process, they can move further to schedule the exam, also known as NPAT slot booking. SVKM's NMIMS has started the NPAT scheduling on February 1. Candidates can book the NPAT 2022 slots until June 23. Earlier, the candidates were allowed to schedule the exam until June 5. The scheduling process is available for the candidates who have paid the application fee. The login portal available on the official website helps in the NPAT slot booking process.

Immediately after scheduling the exam, candidates will be issued the NPAT admit card. Login dashboard available on the exam website hosts the admit card of NPAT 2022. Candidates are able to download the admit card from February 1. Admit cards, also known as NPAT call letters, are downloadable until the exam day. The hard copy of the admit card is to be carried to the test centre on the day of the exam. This year, the NPAT exam is being conducted within a testing window. Earlier, the duration of the window was set as 70 days; however, this has been increased to 86-days. Candidates can choose any exam date at their convenience during the slot booking process. The NPAT exam dates are set between April 1 and June 26. During the 86-day test window, candidates can appear for the exam three times, that is, two retakes for NPAT (1st main test + 2 retakes). However, an additional fee is to be paid for every retake.

SVKM's NMIMS hasn't notified the NPAT 2022 result declaration dates. The best of three attempts will be considered to provide merit rank to each qualifier. NPAT results will be released in the form of a merit list, the NPAT 2022 merit list will be accessible via the login dashboard available at the official website of the varsity. Candidates need to provide their registration ID and date of birth to access the NPAT merit list as per the schedule.
