What is PU CET (UG)?
Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PU CET) is conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh in order to offer candidates admission in BSc (Hons) courses in the varsity. The PU CET is a university level entrance exam that is conducted once a year. The entrance exam is held in offline mode (pen & paper test) and aspirants need to meet the eligibility criteria in order to appear for the entrance exam and apply for admission.

Step 1: Registration
The candidates had to firstly register online on the official website of the university in order to apply for PU CET 2021. The candidate had to enter their personal details such as name, email ID and mobile number.
Step 2: Fill in the Application form
Candidates willing to appear for PU-CET (UG) 2021 needed to fill the application form. Candidates must note that the application form must be filled and submitted before the deadline. The application fee for candidates belonging to the General category was INR 2,175 and for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories was INR 1,088. The application fee for Additional Paper (Biology / Math) was INR 300.
Candidates could choose to pay the application fee via Net Banking/Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Demand Draft.

Step 3: Download PU-CET (UG) 2021 Admit Card
Registered candidates were eligible to download admit cards, which was an important document that needs to be carried to the exam centre. The admit card was available online and test-takers can download the same from the official website of Panjab University.

Step 4: Appear for PU-CET (UG) 2021
The exam was conducted on a single day on September 19, 2021. The Test was conducted for the subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

Step 5: Check PU-CET (UG) 2021 Result
The result of the exam will be declared online, and test-takers can check their scorecards by visiting the official website of Panjab University. The result can be expected within a week from the date of examination.

Step 6: Counselling
Test-takers who clear the exam will be required to attend the counselling round. It is mandatory for the candidate to be present in person for the counselling. Also, carrying the required documents at the time of counselling is a must.

Dates Section:The PU CET (UG) 2021 provisional merit list was released on October 27. The counselling process was conducted from October 29 to November 2. Candidates who had successfully registered, filled and submitted the application form along with the application fee could avail the admit card once released on the official website of the university.
